I first joined this game in October of 2017, so coming up on my 1 year anniversary, I decided to make this post.

First, let me say I love this game/simulation. I'm currently in 25 leagues, 3 of them in there first season. In my first year, I've completed 53 seasons in 22 leagues with an overall record of

541 - 302 - 5. .638 win %

I went to the playoffs 34 times in 53 seasons with 6 conference championships and 2 titles.

I see many complaints in these forums about the game versions, about what sucks, about what owners are bad, having too many teams, being over the cap, having too much dead cap etc.

In fact, my first few months, I was new and actively trading, learning the ins and outs of the game when I learned from someone that "punisher" had created a whole thread aimed at stopping me from trading. He listed all my trades, people I didnt know chimed in calling me a clown, asking for me to be banned and essentially calling me an idiot.

I'm not here to post negative stuff, this all goes to show how making assumptions about people without actually speaking with them first is wrong. Here we are a year later and clearly I'm not damaging the game in any way. I've continued to actively trade and I am highly successful.

I have recently took league admin duties in the XFL league. If anyone is interested in joining a cool, fun and highly competitive league with some great owners, come join us.

I always cringe when owners call out others on this game. Everyone has their own unique strategy and style and it's refreshing that you didn't let it ruin your experience. Congrats on the year anniversary and good luck running the XFL. :)

I started a week before CJ and want to say this community is awesome. There is a definite learning curve to MFN and without the helpful community at-large, no way would I still be here.

Hats off to the beta testers and especially sethrick for providing baseline tips to get MFN newbies on the track to success and long-term enjoyment.

I am very proud of the community we have here. Hats off to the entire community for helping to keep a very positive atmosphere both for veterans and new players alike!

Thanks for the mention, CJ. :) This is without a doubt the best sports sim game I've ever played. If I ever criticize or gripe it's my competitiveness coming out as I try to figure out the new changes made and adjustments. We've all got that fire!
