Greetings, and happy July! This month’s focus has been all about improving stability, fixing bugs, and continuing the transition to our new interface. Here's a rundown of the improvements and fixes we've made:



• War Room Improvements:

The banner has been removed in the new War Room, and the drafting logic has been moved over to the new environment. This should allow the War Room to update properly after each pick. (I attempted this transition last month but hit a snag—this time, that issue should be resolved. If any problems come up, we’ll temporarily revert to the legacy logic.)



• UI and Interaction Fixes:

– Menu arrows now correctly reflect whether a section is open or closed.

– Fixed a bug where the Hall of Champions would crash if the champion was an AI team.

– Resolved incorrect calculations for player attributes (like speed and acceleration) in the new interface.

– Fixed issues related to gameplan distance conditions within gameplan rules.

– Added more speed options to the Game Viewer for better flexibility.

– Fixed a bug where returning to the Game Viewer from the play log sent you to the wrong play.

– The “Previous Play” button in the Game Viewer now works correctly and doesn’t send you to the beginning of the game.

– Resolved an issue where the War Room displayed trades that weren’t actually accepted.

– Fixed a bug where owners were being randomly removed from leagues.

– Player stats now default to values appropriate for their position.

– Fixed an error when trying to view a trade while not being part of a league.



Thanks for your continued patience as we work through these improvements. I'm really excited—we're getting closer to a stable and polished user interface! Please continue to report any issues you encounter. My goal is to make the new UI the primary experience soon, but I want to ensure it’s rock-solid before we flip the switch.

The record for each team remaining in the schedule is no longer shown on the team home page. I would like to see that added.



Opponents tendencies are not shown in defensive gameplanning.



To reiterate: It is currently significantly less convenient to find injury details for each injured player. The injury level (P,Q,...) and time should be provided in as many places as possible, especially prominently on the player card as before. Also, the color scheme should be fixed. It is currently green, grey, yellow, black, while green, yellow, red, black makes sense and may be what was intended.



I will continue looking for anything I can find. I wish there were more others helping out with catching these little things to make the transition as seamless as possible.

Also to reiterate now that I just came back across it: On the player page, the stats should be most recent at the top, it is currently flipped, and the totals should be added back in for a quick look at career yardage or whatever you want to look at.

Where on the card was this displayed better than it is on the new UI? The card is essentially the same with icons instead of text for the different tabs.







Which part of the UI are you referring to with those colors? The color palette hasn't changed drastically—just some minor tweaks here and there. Maybe I’m overlooking something. Can you point out exactly where you’re seeing green/grey/yellow instead of green/yellow/red?

Issue: League Awards in the new interface.



For the NFL League, 2040 season League Awards, Regular Season, Entire League, All Players... there is some sort of glitch because player Issac Church (DB for the New York Jets) is listed as a League Award winner for five different positions: DB, OLB, MLB, DE, and DT. This player only played DB during the 2040 season.

I conducted a trade in the XFL league during the last draft. (https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/trade/4150).



However, I am still seeing E Garza in my depth chart even though his card says he is on the Toronto Titans team. He does NOT show in my roster though.



I got the draft pick and was able to use that, but there's a bug somewhere that is keeping the player in my depth chart.

The old player card put a red bar right under the player name and position which would say "questionable - knee (6 weeks)", so you had all the information right there. It was always the first place I went to check on an injured player, but the new player card doesn't do it.

On the depth chart with the little heart icon for an injured player, currently probable is green, questionable is grey, doubtful is yellow, and I think I've seen out in black. Questionable should be yellow and doubtful red. Out could be either grey or black.

Do you have different colours than me? I have a BLACK bar in the player card.
But yes, in the new UI the bar is missing.
I do agree with the change of colours in the depth chart.

It's the same deep dark red as the theme of the old site. Maybe maroon is a better description than red.

Update: I tried to remove the traded player from the lineup and got a general error. When I removed another player from the lineup the whole position lineup refreshed and the traded player was removed. So I no longer see him in the depth chart, but there's still a bug that allowed him to show up for a time.
