Player Improvement (by individual attribute)

So players improve on the attributes listed in a positional coaches relevant attributes, right? Do the DEGREE of changes vary as well?

i.e Will a WR improve 2x more/faster in pass catching than someone listed as an RB and getting coached by the Backfield coach? Is it still true non-listed attributes decay?

Third question, are FB and RB both coached by the Backfield coach, therefore having the exact same 'positional attributes' they're improving? Any differences in growth speed, i.e FBs increasing in blocking faster?

This specific question also applies to the TEs, because the TE coach may have different stats than the backfield coach, but coaches the exact same set of attributes.

the 3rd part is yes , but that would be tied to the players and not only the coaches

i guess if the numbers were right

Say two identical coaches. WR coach has 100 in all relevant stats, so does the RB coach. If two players were clones of each other, would the RB coach improve the pass catching stats by 20 points just like the WR coach? If so there's a benefit for listing WRs as RBs to get free ball carrying and blocking stat boosts without losing pass catching attribute growth

Coaches only have limited ability to influence player development. There are percentages listed somewhere in forumland, but HC is most influential, position coaches are least influential. Most of the player development is up to the player.

I do this for some guys at some point in thier career ....how much it makes a difference probably is minimal, but different coaches have different in game boosts to players as well that help a little.

Still i have had guys retire while still gaining in one rating or another. That probably could have been avoided one way or another, but an earlier retirement could be to blame too

I'm going to test it to see what happens
Every team has better and worse positional coaches, and that 20 point on average difference from a 63 coach to an 83 coach is several attribute points growth every training camp

Moving WRs to RB does change their physical weight which will slow down your receivers....be careful.
