Eli doesn't fear to make risky passes, so he sometimes throw interceptions. In 2015 he didn't throw INT until the week 6.
I think Eli maybe regressed mentally, there is now some seasons he doesn't have a good protection, he took some hits and has been injured in the last game of 2013 season, even when he is not hit he is under pressure and I think the fact to be always under pressure, game after game, season after season, I think that fact is mentally tiring and he became afraid.
Big Ben, he is one of my favorite QB, he have that kind of pressure, of hits on him and even injuries, and he is the lonely one that it's like he doesn't care and is not afraid and disturbed by that. It's like he doesn't feel pressure and he moves so good in his pocket. I think that guy is very underrated.
I'm not a Steelers fan, but he is VERY underrated. His toughness is legendary. He is the only QB that I see who is willing to throw himself into the fire, will dislocate his throwing shoulder and then play the rest of the game. As a result, though, he misses more time than he should. Sorta like Jordan Reed with the Redskins. RB Matt Jones went down in the Pre-Season with a separated AC Joint, and he missed three weeks. TE Jordan Reed separated his AC Joint in the middle of the Dallas game, and then came back to make 10 catches for 95 yards and 2 TDs in the SECOND HALF.
That's why I like the Gerald Everett pick for the Rams. McVay, their new head coach, was the TE coach at Washington. He became the Offensive Coordinator, and his use of TEs as extreme matchup weapons never leaves a team standing pat over the Redskins. Now, he's the Rams head coach, and he just drafted his new Jordan Reed. The only difference is that Everett is more athletic, had less drops in college, and runs better routes than Reed did coming out. Reed was named to the All-Rookie team. I expect Everett to be similar, but I think OJ Howard will be the All-Rookie TE. Still, Everett is a major mismatch weapon and will do tons for the Rams. McVay has Tyler Higbee to be the Vernon Davis to Everett's Reed. The Rams' offense is about to have a new dimension. Not to mention that I think Cooper Kupp, not Robert Woods, will take the Rams' high volume role that Garcon had in Washington.
But I digress. Eli is a tough QB, Big Ben is tougher, but yes... I will agree that Eli is very tough.
