Did you use the dreaded 1 play defense again? haven't had time to look at the game log...If so, it looks like it worked for a half before I broke through.

Not that it bothers me if you did....If I can't beat a 1 play defense then I should probably quit. I don't change my offense regardless of opponent....I run the same offense versus everyone and it either works or it doesn't. In fact, the only changes I really make are activating/deactivating defensive rules based on opponent....and that's only when I've feeling extra salty!

BTW....The above is true for regular season only....I usually try a little harder in the postseason

The Flat Zone, initially, would stymie us all, however, over time you learn how to get it + the opposing GM gets sloppy using it vs. sets that they shouldn't. I can work over the Flat Zone.

The problem is I've have had a season long injury bonfire stockpile in MFN-23 from the game where I got hit up with the -%123 negative play familiarity in a 100 injury rate league.

That sucks to play out.

I went at it hard in the past because 4343 was getting near and/or accumulating too many titles purely using setherick concepts in a 2-play defense.

My goal was to shame him and shut 'em down like Public Enemy. :)

In this league, yes. I don't intend for it to be permanent, since it really won't win me a championship in this league. I'm just more surprised my defense held you up as long as we did with how terrible my linebackers/secondary are. Eventually when I land on my new defensive gameplan I'll probably do that instead, it's just in the works (in PFL) and I'll need to gradually get it to the point where I am succeeding with it against folks like yourself/Smirt/AG in the test phase.

I'm not there yet. I've been succeeding with a gameplan that has no Flat Zone at all in another league through six games (IPFL) but that needs more testing itself as well.
