In 4.5 the way, from what I found, to beat OLB FZ was to spam 113 and 203 passes. You had to have your WR's beat someone one-on-one while not under the zone coverage as well.

4.6 you have to grind out with a set amount of plays taking advantage of there being no deep safety anywhere. With no deep safety your playmaker just needs to hit the hole a step or two before the extra extra defenders get there. Pain in the *** to deal with. Objectively it's a great play and I respect doing whatever it takes to win, but I think the play is broken

Absolutely. Yeah it’s a dice roll at this point. OLB Flat Zone is the FL Hitch of 4.6, which is ironic because it was beefed up with no overuse penalty to take away the Hitch.

The XFL is the Gold Standard for custom leagues in MFN. In my very biased opinion, it is the best league in MFN, with the most added content and a rich history for all owners (old and new) to enjoy.

Make no mistake, the XFL is my baby and I will protect my league from anyone I feel is negatively impacting my league.

You, as a owner get full access to all the added content and rich history and all it cost you is to be present, run your team, be as competitive as possible, follow tge league rules and not post negative or inflammatory comments in league threads about other leagues, other owners and most especially about owners in the XFL.

I'm not asking you to get along with every owner, like every owner or even respect every owner. I'm asking you to respect my league. I spend 100s of hours building this league up to what it has become and I'm constantly adding even more content. I'm in the process of grading every teams draft from 2019-2036. I plan on doing a thread where I grade every trade by every team in league history. The whole while, I continually update all the threads I already created.

If you don't get along with an owner in the league, by all means use the PM feature and talk all the trash you want to each other. If you have to motivate yourself by attacking other owners or feed off the perceived disrespect a specific owner showed you...do it in private...their is no need for self motivation to be made public.

I will constantly recruit owners to keep the XFL full and I can't concern myself with how 30 other feel about every new owner. Everyone should enjoy playing against owners you don't like....it makes beating them feel even better.

It's been firmly established that version 4.6 has issues. They have been hashed and rehashed so many times that everyone by now should know all tge talking points by heart. I've yet to play a version where EVERYONE was happy but version 4.6 is what we are stuck with so we all have to make the best of it.

Despite not going to a 17 game schedule, we have added a 7th playoff team and it reduced each conference to 1 bye. Love it or hate it...it too is upon us and no complaining about it will change that fact.

In conclusion, I'm simply asking everyone to post to their hearts content in the forums but refrain from negative comments, especially about individual owners and their style of play. Their are currently no rules besides fielding a competitive team with actual kickers, punters and a real QB which means any style of gameplanning is allowed and sanctioned. If I decide to add rules in the future, then we can point out when someone is breaking it, privately would be ideal and as league admin, I will enforce it.

If I'm asking too much from you to remain in the XFL then please quit with no hard feelings. I don't want someone to stay that feels I'm bunting their ability to express themselves fully but it's the price to pay for all tge added content I freely give to each and every one of you.

MFN and most especially the XFL is my escape from reality. It's a place I come where I feel content and can play with stats in a fun and competitive environment without all the negativity stuff that the real world always throws at you.

Thanks in advance for respecting my wishes and know that I will always strive to bring new and interesting content to all of you for as long as I'm able. I hope each and every one of you can accept my terms and stay in tge XFL for as long as possible.

Actually, I'll post in this in the USFL.

It was only a cut and paste of a play I went up against but I can be more in-depth there.

This will be my last post in MFN for a long time....I have to worry about my health and simply asking nicely for owners to refrain from all the negativity in my forums was asking too much...especially in Smirts case.

It's been fun, for the most part playing all of you and I will continue to manage my teams for as long as possible but my forum days are over!
