Well, nothing fun in free agency apart from the QBs/DT + the draft class is cheeks

Hopefully this isn't a quiet off-season

I know you are a busy man but I'm interested in learning what progress you have made in developing a new UI.

I love the game and run 2 very successful (full) leagues but players (owners) are leaving and leagues are dying.

The general forums are full of hate and I defend this game but everyone wants to know when changes are coming.

Is there anyway you can take a few minutes and post something in the general forums just to give people hope that changes are coming?

It would go a long way in retaining owners and keeping leagues open if people had some idea of what progress is being made and some sort of timetable.

Thanks in advance,

CJ

He responded with a post in the general forums, link below

Hopefully, this helps owners stay positive and invested in MFN.

Thanks,

CJ

The Michigan Wolverines was bought by new owner Mr. Shark last season and under his leadership won the AXC South crown.

The billionaire fishing magnet makes Orlando his home and at midnight on February 5th, moving trucks left the Michigan Wolverines headquarters in Ann Arbor and moved the francise to Orlando.

In a tweeter post, shortly after the moving trucks left Ann Arbor, Mr. Shark posted that he was taking his francise home to Orlando where they would be rebranded the Guardians.

A few minutes later, Disney announced that the Orlando Guardians would be playing in the newly constructed, 93,000 seat Disney Stadium. The stadium features a retractable roof and Disney announced the Guardians had signed a 10 year lease to play their home games at their facility.

Commissioner C.J. Frederickson was contacted by local leaders in Ann Arbor demanding a ruling on the impromptu move while fans in Michigan held late night vigils with signs pleading with the XFL to return their team. The Commish issued this statement:

Mr. Shark bought the francise with full intention of moving the Wolverines to Orlando once construction of Disney Stadium was complete. He filed all the proper paperwork and once construction was complete and Michigan government refused to build him a new stadium and update the training facilities, he was given approval to not only relocate the francise but to also rename them to the Guardians. The XFL fully supports the move to Orlando and welcomes Disney into the XFL family."

The move was ratified quickly by a majority of owners once the projected revenue numbers Mr. Shark & Disney submitted to the league office.

The ALLTIME STATS THREAD has been updated with all current season records in bold.

https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/forums/3/1098?page=1#7566

Next, I have to create the Hall of Fame ballot and send it to the HOF Committee so we can enshrine this year's electees

Then we goto the draft where I will do my annual 1st round draft review!

Once both of these are accomplished, I will update the TEAM HISTORY THREAD!

Finally, I will do draft grades for the entire 2040 draft and update the draft grades thread for every team!

Thanks,

CJ

Losing my best cb to early retirement hurts, especially since I only traded for him last season.

Out of curiosity, what are your guys experiences with star players that retire early?

It's luck of the draw unfortunately, after 7 seasons the clock starts ticking and every player has a roll of the dice to decide if/when they retire. Your CB was entering year 9 and retired which is fairly early but not uncommon especially for DBs.

I've noticed offensive & defensive linemen play longer along with K, P & QBs while skill position players seem to retire much earlier. Even when CB, WR or RB stay active into year 9, 10 & 11, they drop speed fairly quickly and become less effective/productive as a result.

Still sucks, sorry it happened to you!
