They return almost the entire roster from the Conference Championship team with just MLB Baskin retiring after just 53 snaps last season. They added 7 rookies to the mix with the biggest addition a FB with great speed to improve on last seasons 26th ranked Rush offense. The most significant change comes at owner as the previous owner won 35 games the past 3 seasons culminating in last years AXC Conference Championship. He parlayed the success into the sale of the team to a new owner with experience running a team. The question is how much difference will new ownership make with essentially the same roster.

After 4 straight seasons where Indiana finished around .500, they slipped to 5-11 last season. They were led by their defense, especially their 4th ranked pass defense but struggled Offensively. QB Cantu had a sub par year which hurt the running game which was inefficient. The hope is Cantu will come into his own in his 4th season and the addition of rookie RB Melillo who turned heads in camp can open up the running game.

Oakland is the 3rd of 4 teams in the division under new ownership as MWD65 bought the team from 9 year owner Datsmallboi. Oakland had gone to the postseason in 5 of the 6 years prior to last season when the team collapsed, going 3-13 before being sold. Mwd65 is an experienced owner and will look to bring the team back from the dead but it may take him a few season to rebuild this once proud francise.

Buffalo has been owned by Smirt since the beginning and the team has made 25 straight postseason appearances. They lost Hall of Fame & 2× league MVP, QB Ricardo Dodds to retirement and signed Matthew Whitney to a mega-deal to step in and fill his big shoes. While Buffalo has continued to win and make the postseason, their record has slowly declined every season since going 16-0 in 2039. The roster is the oldest in the league, averaging 9.8 years in the league as the youngest player has 4 seasons under his belt. They had a -31 turnover margin last season which ranks as the 2nd worst in league history behind only the 2023 Daytona team who went -39. The question becomes can anyone in the East finally step up and claim the crown in the East!

New England has the 2nd longest tenured owner in the East and they have been chasing Buffalo for all 22 seasons under John. In 16 of the past 22 seasons, New England has finished at least 7-9 including 3 ten win seasons but it's only led to 2 postseason appearances as a Wildcard. From 2033-2042, they went a combined 79-81 and never could unseat Buffalo as Division Champs so they decided to tear it down and built through the draft. In contrast to Buffalo, they have 11 rookies and the average years is 4.09 per player. Expect the team to continue to struggle this season as they have three 1st round picks in the next draft where they should begin the process of challenging Buffalo for division supremacy.

After 24 seasons as owner, Brohl sold the team to a new owner, Antjr. New York made just 1 postseason appearance in those 24 seasons and recorded just 2 winning seasons in that time period. It appears Brohl sold the team after receiving criticism for how he drafted, especially the four 1st rounders in the 2045 draft which ultimately led to his departure. The new owner will have to find a new starting QB and figure out what else his team needs in order to reserve decades of losing plus the new owner is a Wildcard, an unknown variable so only time will tell if he can right the ship.

This is Brucehum's 7th season as owner of Miami and the team is looking for their 1st winning season since 2034, 6 years prior to Brucehum buying the francise. The team lacks speed overall with a few exceptions and in this league you need speed to compete at the highest level. With that being said they have enough offensive pieces to score and if they get enough from their defense, they could improve over last season.

Houston has been owned by Private Snowflake for 16 years and they have went to the postseason 10 of the previous 15 seasons including 4 straight. The majority of the core returns this season as 6 older players depart, replaced by 3 rookies & 3 vets. The team has plenty of speed on offense & defense and should make it 5 straight postseason appearances.

This is owner Duane_Bickett's tenth season and after initially losing the first 5 seasons, he broke through in 2042, going 11-5 and making the postseason. He has had a winning record for 4 straight seasons, making the postseason in three if them capped off with a AXC Conference Championship in 2043. Pittsburgh went a francise record 14-2 last season but lost in their 1st postseason game to Buffalo 12-10. The team has some unfinished business this season and the roster is poised to make another run.

Cincinnati has been owned by Blondie for a dozen years now but after making the postseason from 2036-2041, the team has been stuck in neutral the past 3 seasons mainly due to them breaking in a rookie QB and the Division being labeled the "**** Division". The past 3 seasons has them a combined 23-25 and clearly something had to give so the team let 21 players walk while adding 21 new players to the mix. With the addition of 1st rd WR Moss who many consider an elite RB1, Remy Beaucamp is running out of excuses why he can't get this team over the hump. Is this the year he breaks out? Will all the additions & subtractions equal success? We will all find out!

Dakota has been owned by C.J. Fred since the very beginning of the XFL. They have made the postseason an unprecedented 27 straight seasons but the team became old via trades and a lack of high end draft picks last season. They went into the off-season with a clear mandate to become younger & faster. They lost 21 players through either retirement or letting them walk via free agency. They successfully made the roster younger as the average player has 5.66 seasons which should drop even further when final cuts occur. They are definately in danger of ending their postseason streak this season as they turn over their roster. Luckily they still have an elite QB and it all depends on how their defense performs, especially their pass defense.

Daytona has been owned by Voryzover for 19 seasons and 16 of the 17 previous seasons they finished with a losing record. It's not that they are devoid of talent as they added another elite RB in the draft to couple with RB Colunga which "should" improve on their 32nd rush offense from last season. They also drafted the QB of the future in the 3rd round in Terry Myer who really turned heads in training camp. The roster is better then the results and if they streamline play calling and call 20 instead of 40 offensive plays, they could improve drastically.
