Buffalo play(s) Daytona & Cincinnati while New York play(s) Dakota & Toronto which is based on last seasons finish.

Buffalo finished in 1st place and faces 1st place in the 2 divisions in the same conference where you play just 1 team.

New York finished in 2nd place and faces 2nd place in the 2 divisions in the same conference where you play just 1 team.

AXC East plays AXC West (4), NXC West (4) plus 6 division games.

Basically you play all 3 other divisions in your own Conference every 3 seasons while playing every division in the other conference every 4 seasons.

I'm just responding to your comment and sharing info that some might not know. From doing the ALLTIME VS OPPONENT thread I've learned how the schedule is pretty set every season with just the home and away games being random.

I don't think anybody you play is over thrilled to have you on the schedule either!

You learned it from that? I learned it when the NFL went to this schedule formula.

True but the NFL has that weird 17th game which throws a little curveball into the schedule including alternating 9 home games and 8 road then vice versa.

Guess I never really thought about it before until doing my own playoff clinching scenarios where after the 6 division games, there were 8 other common games among division oppoments.
