No I don't think so, and yes but the same person runs the discord and it's kinda dead there.

Hopefully someone in this league will ask JDB to take over LA duties, then they can get you in.

If I could suggest to anyone who reads this post, if considering picking up a team . Please do not pickup the Dakota Blizzard until we here from CJ

Nobody is able to get a team until either CJ returns or we get a new commish. I have been asking and it seems nobody stepped up so I asked JDB to let me do it.

I've said it before that I don't want to do it but with the new season starting, someone needs to do it today, so I did.

If I may be honest, if we haven't heard from CJ by now, then one of 3 things have happened...

1) He lost/can't afford his phone

2) He's in the hospital

3) Worse than the hospital

The man is a little older than I am, born in 1968 and has had a stroke and a heart attack in 2025. His wallet was stolen during his heart attack and he used up his PTO while in the hospital for that. He recovered, but was struggling financially so he went from a pay subscription to a free one.

I do know he loved the XFL, this was his baby and he wouldn't just abandon it without telling someone. That tells me something is seriously wrong and we probably should not expect him to return.

Yeah , I had those same thoughts . I have stuck around because of CJ . But the game has become so disappointing to me . Too many penalties , too many injuries, coaches retiring , etc.
I think I am going to bail. I hate to leave my team without staff and players , I may stick and at least get it on track. Or maybe not. Contemplating.........

I understand the game isn't as fun as it used to be but maybe there are several people waiting on approval for teams here and they were just waiting for someone to hit the accept button.

I'm right there with you, Claymore. I'm hoping for the best for CJ and a big reason I've decided to stick around is because of him. I'm less than thrilled by the new UI and we still have next to no movement on a new engine. Currently contemplating my options.
