Buffalo won the championship in 2030, 2032, 2035, 2036, and 2059 while losing the title game in 2020, 2029, 2034, and 2060. While at first glance it appears Smirt had a more than 2 decade dry spell, it's not like the Skull Crushers sucked. Buffalo has made the playoffs every season but 3, and 2 of the 3 were the first 2 years of the league.
Los Angeles is making just it's 12th playoff appearance in 45 seasons and last year was their only other appearance in the XFL Title Game, which they won. Despite the overall lack of post season play, the Challengers have made the playoffs 6 years running now and are obviously the defending champs.
