And the Tampa Bay Fireballs and Casualcnote are on the clock.....
Let the draft begin....
Who are the projected top 5 picks?
WR Curtis Moore....90 speed but 62 vol
TE Chalres Johnson.....great potential for dual threat blocker, pass catching TE with 79 speed but vol is high
DT Daniel Davis.....305 pounder with 73 speed and 64 acceleration. He is a run stopping, pass rushing nose tackle with a 40 vol
CB Bobby Friedman.....90 speed tweener that can exile at all 3 LB positions plus either safety position along with CB depending on need but carrys a 90 vol
FS Jeff Urban.....strong, quick and intelligent 80 speed with mad cover and b&r potential but has 80 vol
LG Curtis Holland.....quick, strong and intelligent with great run and pass block potential. At 22 vol, may be the safest pick of the bunch
He has 94 volatility but he has 94 bump and run coverage and his punish receiver is already 90/99. Just because his volatility is high doesn't mean his ratings will change much. I just completed a draft in Cust-79 where I took a TE in the 1st round and made him a RB. His volatility was 82 and after training camp, his progress was +18/+1.
If I was picking high and needed a LB, that volatility wouldn't scare me away.
Scribner is dope but not sure if I wanna discuss players here before the draft.
You can really cast a light on certain players and get them selected before they would be or merely from seeing the mention here. (i.e. that high vol player earlier in this thread)
With the 10th overall pick, Milwaukee is ecstatic to select OL Curtis Holland. As one of the top players on the board, he'll be a starter from day one and a cornerstone for this young rebuilding franchise for at least the next decade.

At 1.23, Gem City will be taking CB Timothy Williams. We were hoping one of Moore or Nieman (WR's) would fall, but no. Williams projects as an ordinary cover guy with exceptional speed but the DB depth left in the draft isn't good.
Instead of taking best player available, we're taking the best DB left.
