I would say do what you think is best for the league. Often, the AI screws things up for the new owner so I would lean towards you taking over. I think you'll need a dummy account, which isn't a problem if it's out in the open and used temporarily until an owner is found. Tribewriter does it all the time in USFL.

I agree. Taking the team over would probably be best for the league

He could be on vacation , I mean he should have said so, but I would give it a few more days then at least try to make the team acceptable to a new owner

If he is not coming back, it needs hands on Cj, the AI will just make it worse!
If I wait till it spins again for preseason game 1. The A.I. will cut 23 million in players salaries until the team gets under the cap. That means the best players get cut first flooding the waiver wire and leaving the team devoid of talent and with a hugh dead cap number next season. It would basically kill this francise for at least 2-3 seasons. Honestly I would prefer to wait it out but waiting means an inbalance in the league.
If I take over the team for 1 day. I can cut the players that should be cut, renegotiate contracts for stars and get the team under the cap while keeping its best players. I would then let the A.I. run the team until somebody comes along.
I will give him another 12 hours and then remove him and salvage the team for a future owner.
