JDB has added a sliding scale for injury rates controlled by league admins in custom private leagues. The sliding scale is 0-200 with 100 being the current injury rate in game. This poll is for every owner to chime in on what he believes the XFL League should set the injury rate. This setting will be a one time adjustment at the start of the season and wont change until the following season. So help me determine what rate we will be playing with.
It's a vicious circle, though. I think it's all a trap meant to keep you engaged in a league more - time wise. Keep throwing waves of injuries at a GM so they're stuck in the depth chart and game planning try to figure out ways to Houdini out of it. Playing on our competitiveness and drive.

Vegas only has 12 injuries currently it's getting tough to field a team, We are playing hurt. Did we revert back to 100% injury rate ?

As long as JDB uses injuries as a cudgel to quell unruly owners, the "injury rate" is meaningless. Also, his claim that he has not "changed the code" is meaningless as well. If he hasn't changed it, that only means that the code has existed all along. My injuries shot up when I dared to complain about him. My training camp luck went south as well, and now in one league, two of my division rivals magically had wonderful camps.
Yep and a dope just posted what is the summation of "I can't beat 'em, Ima be a wuss and demand injuries to any hard thought about tactic because I can't compete.'
Hopefully, the 'wuss out' and I'm being careful to clean it up for now on my true words .....the wuss out isn't rewarded.
Also, sorry STS about your current experiences on the platform with injuries and training camp. :(

Well I don't know about all that but there is definately some kind of variable roll that can wipe out a season. It's just a game , if you take it too serious you will be disappointed. My example is last season playoffs I could predict my teams play. My quarterback played a perfect wildcard game , then the next week throws five picks. His true play was somewhere in between.

...and there's definitely some kind of variable where the sim engine pinpoints what you're trying to do on offense and pinpoint laser beams to strike it down with crippling injuries to that area. It takes tons of 'tap dancing to bullets shot at your feet' to survive in the game. :(

My biggest complaint is with the cluster bug, as I call it, which JDB assures us doesn't exist. Overall injury rate doesn't bother me.
The biggest factor here is the number of plays you keep guys on the field, because the chances of injury skyrocket when fatigued. This is why I don't play key starters on special teams. I've noticed a lot of owners who have guys playing upward of 90 snaps per game. That's just asking for mass casualties.
