Like I said......I use a mathematical formula to doing my power rankings and you are ranked based on that. I do power rankings for all 5 on my leagues weekly and dont have any interest in basing them on my personal opinion. I use a formula each and every week to calculate them and the formula is as follows for the regular season.....
Wins +5 Loses -5 Total offense 33 - ranking Total defense 33 - ranking Turnover margin +/- Strength of victory 33 - opponent ranking Strength of lose 0 - opponent ranking Previous weeks ranking 33 - former ranking
If you have an issue with where you are ranked by me then blame MATH!!! or go by the games power rankings which offer absolutely no explanation.
For example....a 5-0 team that beats the 10th ranked team and was ranked 5th last week with the 5th ranked offense and defense and a +10 turnover margin equals.....
I was wondering about that but kept quiet. I'm flailing and fighting hard over here due to age out and constantly being positioned at #30 or later in the draft. FA's probably more protected here, too, right? If I recall, not like USFL but more guarded than other leagues. Put up 55 and was like #18, cool and got pissed internally. I get it....the roster isn't impressive but I don't trade vets for draft picks and try to get over people plus see above.
Any ways, back into the lab. :)

You could try to punt block your way into the top 10 ...

While hopeful for the preseason ranking, I'm not sure we addressed last-season's sieve-like defense sufficiently enough this offseason/draft to validate a bump into the top 10.
