So apparently when players retire without fulfilling their contract you get the cap hit ?

Cause I didn't have and dead cap and had two players retire and now have dead cap this season and next. To me that is bull Stink

31 year old CBs and WRs are not too far out there. However, JDB advanced retire rates on players across the board a year ago or so....

If I feel something is way out of bounds (unfair) and it cripples me I initiate a bail out program and hit abandon. shrugs

OL got moved up 2-3 years as an example, 29 year old TEs catch retirement rates I believe. :(

The only thing that moderates retirement rates is serious injuries . We had more snaps lately . ...that the only thing that's changed .

Still, when I first joined I landed to elite CBs in the first round. One retired yr 9 the other yr 16. The yr 16 guy had much more injuries and only he had the serious one.

So I think the whole thing is pretty random . Random as injuries . If you want to increase your chances of lowering retirement . ...or athletic declines....change to positions with lower rates at the end of season stage (for retirement ) and camp (for athletic hits)
