I have to start combing through these completed trades to see what the player values are so I know what I can realistically get for some of my guys when I can finally start trading.

With that being said, we all have different ideas on what makes value apparently. Not this trade but sometimes I look at trades and think *** is one of the participants thinking.

I think it's fair to say we've all had that same *** thought, even when it comes to actual NFL trades let alone fantasy and sim football! lol.

I also find, as a newb, there are lots of scores/attributes for the players and there also seems to be lots of commentary as to what impact each score has and its true value so I think that adds some serious challenge to scoring a trade.

On that note, other than the chat forums and the youtube vids, is there an FAQ booklet or basic learner's guide anywhere? I suspect not, I think that's part of the fun here, but I thought I'd ask.

I agree with both of you. I just want to get an idea of the general value of certain positions, ratings, etc. in this format.

I'm usually pretty stingy, so I'm not too worried.

I think a good place to start on "trade value" is realizing that both sides linemen are grossly over scored and old guys scores dont drop fast enough as they age.
