Okay, maybe I'm being a bit of a drama queen about the constant busting. I'm still sore about the other two though.

Does JDB make draft picks worthless on purpose? Maybe this is his solution to the problem that they're worth too much.

I know from other leagues that I don't ****, which makes my misadventures in this league so frustrating.
Plus my predecessor put me in such a big hole in exchange for future picks. Now all those picks have gone to waste.

Your predecessor - it appears - fled to Roster Only Leagues. You were left with a .500 ball club and I believe you indicated a lack of draft picks. FAs are guarded like Smaug with its golden treasures and draft classes were watered down a long time ago. It's difficult to ascend and I can vouch for you....you're a Conference Finals Entrant + (Plus) GM. :)

When I took over this team, it had a .500 record, but it also had one WR, no CB's, and a pantload of draft picks. In NFFL it was the other way around, because I'd traded all my picks for WR's who didn't really work out. Probably the right mix is somewhere in between.

STS.....you are a top end owner/GM....The thing about this game that drives everyone insane in the 15%-20% of the game which comes down to LUCK.

You can draft well.... have a dominant roster with a rock solid gameplan and luck factors in when it comes to injuries or bad sim rolls resulting in turnovers or draft picks busting hard.
