About 3 Quarters through my game. Have any of ya'll noticed that when you have a distinctive speed advantage in the secondary vs. WRs scenario....we'll highlight a 46-45 speed/acceleration with 57 man-2-man CB #2 in this case that unless you force it, the sim will do everything in its power to protect the over-match.
(dropped passes, toss to other routes, avoid FL Hitch, whatever else safeguards at its disposal)
Gg Daytona......in what should be the twilight of his future Hall of Fame career, Randal Cunningham broke his own record for passing yards in a game (641 yards in 2026) by throwing for 722 yards!!!
He added 8 TD passes which is 1 behind the record of 9 held by....you guessed it...Randal Cunningham who did it twice (9 TD in 2021 & 2024) and Zehlendorf Zecken QB Drew Lock (9 TD in 2030).
In fact, Randal Cunningham has 2820 yards and 32 TDs through 6 games and is currently on pace for 7520 yards and 85 TDs.
The current single season records for yards is 6406 (Hershel Owen 2020) and TDs is 63 (Randal Cunningham 2024).
In 2021 & 2024, Randal Cunningham had 4 games where he threw for over 500 yards during the season. In 2031, he has already done it 3 times and shows no signs of slowing down.
In 2024, he threw for 5 or more TDs 6 times and ended up with 63. In 2031, he has throw for 5 or more TDs 5 times in 6 games.
He currently sits at 67,363 yards and 588 TD passes and needs 2637 yards and 12 TDs to reach 70,000 and 600 TDs alltime.

That guy was a really good tackler. Sometimes those people get a speed boost, and you can't just run away from them. It doesn't explain everything, but it's something.
