I'm surprised the sim engine didn't squeeze him out. Looks like Kirk's default ratings were similar (82-84 area for both) and he got cap busted in him at age 34.
I got peak performance the last 2 seasons and then he retired. Hmm, probably elite rated 90+ Cunningham would have been put into retirement.
Coming off 87 touchdowns, it's a modern day miracle the sim engine didn't 'fix' that for parity....

Coach progress graph is back. Small part of the game but I still prefer coaches on the rise, and now I know again.
Unfortunately, we were taught from our start that coaching doesn't affect the game except which plays you have available. I've always put my 100% attention to play knowledge and strategies.
If they did matter JDB would need to re-think the system. As it's currently constituted the positional spots can only be filled by sub-70 type pick ups, basically.
That would drastically shift the game if the coaching ratings in pass catching per se saw an affect to your WRs ability to catch the ball on an FL Hitch and go.
Poor rating = WR runs an improper route the ball sails harmlessly to the ground.

True, but a lot of those sub 70's position coaches grow 2-3 points per year and eventually become coordinators or HC.
Sorry guys, gotta cut from 9 down to 2 or 3 teams, RL has really kicked things up, Really enjoyed being in the XFL and turning the KC team around. cheers

Sorry, I haven't been active lately, I've been working behind the scenes working on the XFL Alltime Stats thread, putting together the Hall of Fame ballot and working on my 1st round draft history.
I've also had back to back allocation drafts so its taken up most of my time.
New post are coming soon plus I have the annual 1st round draft review.
I got lucky in Round 2. Woke up and saw I had 1 name left in my queue and planned to come back later and add some names. That didn't happen, and while I was at work about 8 last night, checking my next allocation pick when the light bulb went off...OH $%^&, I forgot to make a draft list. I was expecting the worst, you know how the AI is, but much to my surprise, I ended up with Hudson.
I might have went another direction had I actually made a list, I'll never know though.
