Seems like an overpay for a 13 year center but what do I know.

Buffalo has only drafted 1 1st rounder since 2027 (9 seasons) and has none the next 3 seasons.

Mortgaging the future has worked for him so far coupled with he speed first, WR/DB heavy roster.

It will be interesting to see where this francise heads into the future with only 2 players currently on the roster with under 5 years of experience.

If Smirt quit today, a new owner would have seasons of work ahead of them rebuilding this team without Smirts strategies.
