MoonPygg the new owner of the Islanders vowed not to make too many roster changes due to salary cap restrictions. He is not one to accrue dead cap penalties. He may have to play some o linemen out of position therefore. Hopefully injuries do not pile up in that department. Give us 4 or 5 years to turn this thing around. There are a lot of good players on this team though.

After getting a good look at teams history i realize this is a good franchise, only that ill make some adjustments to play MoonPygg ball.

The problem with this team is absolutely no cap space and only 47 players on the roster. As an owner who wants financial flexibility, it will take several years of contracts ending and the right negotiating to make this team viable as a regular competitor. Only saying.

Seems as though the owner before me ONLY held onto top notch players at the expense of having a full roster and absolutely no cap space. I have been trying to find an adequate kicker to replace the *** the guy left me with and even traded a player to get a little more room but still can't sign one. Throw into the mix that I've massively revamped my offensive rules, this season has become just one to endure. Will also lose at LEAST one young star next year. :(

Unfortunately that QB Weaver is almost guaranteed to retire with a gigantic dead cap hit after the end of season spin...he is in year 16 and has a 50% retirement rate with 40 million in guaranteed bonus money due.

Right! Water finds its level eventually. Thanks for taking over and managing the team. I hope your pieces fall into place and contracts get worked out for the long run, but in short term.

thanks bud until folk mentioned the financial headache weaver is gonna be I thought within 2 years that I would be very competitive now I'm thinking three or four unless of course I try to cheat financially myself. If I can keep a good core together without everyone getting old............
