FUN FACT

This is the 20th season of the XFL which means that's 640 (20x32) possible seasons of ownership for all the teams.

Including this season, where we have 1 team unowned, there has been a combined 52 seasons of A.I. run teams. That's an incredible rate of 91.8% active ownership for every team in every season.

That's incredible!!!

Again, that speaks to each and everyone of you who have joined and stayed. We have had our share of turnover because including the 31 current owners....we have had 114 total different owners.

Some have come and gone quickly while some stayed a long time before leaving but on average the 114 owners stayed 5.6 seasons.

I love this league and put a ton of work into all the extra content and the payoff is all of you not only joining...but staying!!

I hope all of you will stay for another 20 seasons....at least!!

I've dropped 5 leagues today leaving me with just 4 leagues total

I've kept my 2 leagues in thier 20th season and 2 other leagues where Im just an owner (USFL/VILLAGE)

I'm cutting back because of several reasons but the recent decision to make BETA a new version release starting at the end of season spin for every league is the focal point!

Why you ask?

It's not for the reasons you may think, I've been thru 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5 and have won titles in each version including the short-lived 4.4 version.

It's not a new version that bothers me because we are overdue for a new version but what that version represents.

I posted somewhere that in 2020, the NFL scored well over 12,000 points combined for all the games. Clearly it's the age of the passing game and scores has risen steadily over the decades.

Version 4.5
The current version averages right around 10,000 points a season which is where the NFL was in 1998. What's that mean?? Well the sim which is clearly a computer sim of NFL football without any licensing agreement is 20+ years behind the current NFL scoring rate.

Version 4.6
The new version which is currently beta has been championed by a small group of fanatics who love how it makes games more competitive while fixing some of the 4.5 exploits. They go on and on how you don't need custom rules, the rushing game is better, sacks are up and freely admit the passing game needs work.

What does the passing game needs work mean?

Well if you pass for 210 yards with 1 TD, I INT and get sacked 2 times in 4.6....you are a league leader my friend. BETA has been used not.only in MFN-1 but 3 other leagues (2 regular/1 roster only) for multiple seasons. Guess what the average points per season is for those leagues....8,000!!!

You have to go back to the NFL in 1978 to reach those numbers....We are going the wrong way !!!!!!

It's like reading the book Jaws and you decide to make it a movie. Well the movie is about a police sheriff buying a house on a lake....him, his scientist friend and an old navy buddy take out a boat and go fishing!

Sure, the characters are the same, it's on water and there is a boat and they are trying to catch something in the water.....but it's not the same thing!!!!!

Fix 4.5 the right way and open up long passing while increasing sacks but don't release a broken version just because it fixed some issues....it broke other things which make it unrecognizable to real football!!!!

Quick, tell me the last season 22 TD passes led the league and nobody else threw 20 or more?!?!?!?

Well that was the last full season of League of Legends, the 3rd full season using BETA in a full league of owners.....excited yet????

This is a game that I passed time with having fun, yeah sometimes, rarely I have a phenomenal game throwing for 700 yards and 10 TDs. It happened once in 19 seasons of gameplay, or once in 4,864 games!!!!

Now throwing for 325 yards and 4 TD will equal that feat.

Look, I had a stroke and this game helped me recover but now it's losing my interest because it is becoming boring.
