No it's not....it's a group of friends who use discord instead of the league forums and yes its loaded with a bunch of good natured trash talk along with a bunch of self-deprecating humor.

gleg and nova are the connective tissue. Any Given Sunday spawned from a group of gamers, too. I believe it's same source, plentiful amount of people. I do think Lamba is re-named, though. He's not one to slink away and never return.

You're right about me being Defcon 5, though. I came at them head on and now I'll go radio silent and in the lab. You can't win a war if you're always in a constant communication. :)

I'm actually enjoying TPM and the discord server is actual way better then the league chat or the league forums.

MFN is a game and it's suppose to be fun....In high School, college, the Military and at work....I've always joked and cracked on people who were by best friends. It's a part of being a man and part of a group.

When I played sports or was part of pool leagues or bowling leagues, talking **** and the ability to take it as well as dish it out was an important right of passage.

I've been a part of TPM and the discord for a while now and been made to feel welcome and part of the group. I love how active the discord is compared to other leagues that use the league forums or even league chat.

Believe what you want and I honestly don't get why you always get worked up by anyone in a league you aren't even in....weren't even aware of until I joined or even a part of the discord.

You ever stop to consider that the reason people do what they do or say what they say to you is because they know they can easily get a rise out of you?

Maybe you missed it in the Professional League Chat but very first communication ever someone came at me in the most un-civil way.

We never even communicated before and he came at me like a ****. F that.

All throughout my teens through 30s I'd hit the courts and play competitive basketball with groups of friends - I'm as competitive as they come. I'd talk sh*t and get into it. I know how it works but for a clown to open his mouth with the very first words ever to me - no - I'm done with him.

"Hey, come join discord so I can sh*t talk you to your face." LOL

i know what you mean that lamba arsehole and one or two others stuck their noses where it didnt belong concerning me before. Thankfully in my four years playing mfn its only been three or four like that. We all may not be everyones cup of tea but some folk need to learn to keep their mouths shut concerning people they dont know
