MILESTONE WATCH

As we enter the 31st season of the XFL, there are multiple active players looking to move up the Alltime records. Below is a listing of those players already in the top 40 among Alltime career stats in different areas.

PASSING

QB Robert Alvarez (DAK)
11th season
39,695 yards passing (16th Alltime)
274 TD passes (13th Alltime)

This former league MVP is the active leader in passing yards and needs 3,317 yards & 27 TD passes to crack the top 10 Alltime in both categories. He set career highs in passing yards (4,733) & passing TDs (37) last season.

QB Anthony Henderson (MEM)
15th season
39,672 passing yards (17th Alltime)
282 TD passes (10th Alltime)

This 2× former league MVP is the active leader in TD passes and needs 3,340 yards to crack the top 10 Alltime. He can move up to 7th Alltime in TD passes with 36 TD passes this season. If he can match his career high of 48 TD passes, he can move into a tie for 6th Alltime in TD passes. He can move as high as 9th Alltime in passing yards with a 5,068 passing season which he has achieved twice in his career.

QB Steven Stiner (PHI)
14th season
36,852 (21st Alltime)
207 TD passes (25th Alltime)

This veteran QB spent 9 seasons as starter in Tornoto before signing with Philadelphia where he is making his 3rd season as starter. He will crack the top 20 Alltime with 970 yards & 12 TD passes. He could move up as high as 12th Alltime in passing yards if he duplicates last seasons numbers (4,814) and 18th Alltime in TD passes with last seasons output (24).

QB Gary Fielding (CIN)
11th season
34,398 yards passing (23rd Alltime)
256 TD passes (15th Alltime)

QB Leonard Thompson (CIN)
17th season
34,107 (24th Alltime)
230 TD passes (18th Alltime)

These 2 QBs are linked since Cincinnati traded for the 2× former league MVP QB Gary Fielding while QB Leonard Thompson is still on the roster after setting career highs in passing yards (4,880) & TD passes (50). Which QB wins the starting job?

Fielding would need 45 TD passes to crack the top 10 while Thompson would move up to 11th Alltime with a 52 TD performance. Both QBs would easily crack the top 20 in passing yards if they win the starting job.

QB Taylor Rojas (PNX)
13th season
29,695 (36th Alltime)
172 TD passes (34th Alltime)

He bounced around from Indiana, Los Angeles and New York his first 10 seasons with minimal success before signing with Phoenix as he enters his 4th season as starter. He needs 8,127 yards passing & 47 TD passes to crack the top 20 Alltime.

QB Matthew Whitney (BUF)
8th season
29,359 (37th Alltime)
198 TD passes (26th Alltime)

This 3x ALLPRO QB may eventually rewrite the record books as Buffalo uses their full throttle passing assault. He needs 8,463 yards passing & 21 TD passes to crack the top 20 in both categories. He could reach as high as 14th Alltime in TD passes if he matches the 60 TD passes he had last season.

RUSHING

Peter Chappell (LAC)
9th season
11,059 yards rushing (3rd Alltime)
58 TD rushing (2nd Alltime)

This 3 × ALLPRO & 7× XFL Champion is on the verge of becoming the Alltime rushing king of the XFL and was a key cog in Atlanta's incredible dynasty but it's still a business and he was traded in the off-season to Los Angeles despite Atlanta's fans protests. He just needs 222 yards rushing to set a new Alltime rushing record in the XFL and needs 11 rushing TDs to tie or 12 rushing TDs to establish a new XFL record.

Leroy Bello (ATL)
8th season
9,432 yards rushing (8th Alltime)
56 TD rushing (4th Alltime)

This 2× former ALLPRO was the other half of the greatest RB combo in XFL history. He often played second fiddle to Chappell but has quietly kept pace with him in rushing despite playing 1 less season. He needs just 624 yards rushing to move into 4th Alltime and is 1,848 yards shy of the current Alltime rushing leader. He is also 13 rushing TDs shy of the current Alltime leader. He will finally have a chance to become RB1 for Atlanta with the trade of Chappell.

Son Johnson (PNX)
7th season
8,038 yards rushing (18th Alltime)
36 TD rushing (29th Alltime)

This former ALLPRO needs 1,160 yards rushing to crack the top 10 Alltime while he needs 10 rushing TDs to tie for 9th Alltime.

Van Gillespie (BUF)
12th season
7,993 yards rushing (20th Alltime)
38 TD rushing (23rd Alltime)

While he is only 8 rushing TDs shy of cracking the top 10 and just 7 yards shy of becoming only the 20th player to reach 8,000 yards rushing, he had no production last season for Buffalo.

Brandon Stone (DAK)
7,871 yards rushing (23rd Alltime)
28 TD rushing (55th Alltime)

Antonio Collins (DAK)
7,156 yards rushing (36th Alltime)
27 TD rushing (60th Alltime)

These 2 players are also linked as both vets signed with Dakota but only 1 player will make the final roster and rumors out of Dakota is Collins has made the roster with Stone being released.

9th season
8,378 yards receiving (20th Alltime)
