Providence has won at least 10 games and made the postseason the last 8 straight seasons. They have won the East Division 4 straight seasons and went 14-2 the last 3 straight seasons. There window is still open and it's all a matter of beating Atlanta, Memphis, Gem City and Phoenix in the NXC postseason.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
Both Kickers and the primary Returner all return for the unit.
PREDICTION: 10-6
Philadelphia has made the postseason in 11 straight seasons but just made it last season with an 8-8 record. Their record should improve behind a potential top 5 defense and they should make it an even dozen straight postseasons.
BROOKLYOWNER: Infinityontrail (2nd season)
LAST SEASON: 8-8 (3rd place)

Their backup QB retired and they let their 3rd string QB walk in free agency. They also lost their 4th leading rusher and 3rd leading receiver when WR Terrance McConkey left in free agency. Their Kicker and primary returner comes back this season but their Punter retired. They signed an undrafted rookie PUNTER who will make the team and become the starter.
PREDICTION: 10-6
Brooklyn is under new ownership and he has a reputation for winning. The Hitmen went 6-1 down the stretch and almost snuck into the playoffs. A full off-season plus a full year to implement his game plan could find a new power in the NXC and NXC East emerge.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
The entire special teams unit returns intact this season and is considered elite level.
PREDICTION: 8-8
Washington won 10 games in 2047 before regressing in 2048 and winning just 5 games. With the emergence of Brooklyn in the East along with perennial contenders Providence & Philadelphia, the Warriors may find themselves in 4th place the next few seasons if they can't get their offense going. They make a blockbuster trade where they gave up future 1st rounders for the 2nd overall pick last year in WR John Enriquez.
WESTPHOENIXOWNER: Armoredgiraffe (11th season)

SPECIAL TEAMS:
The entire special teams units returns including both Kickers and the primary returners.
PREDICTION: 13-3
Phoenix has won at least 13 games and the NXC West Title for 8 straight seasons and nothing leads me to believe they won't make it 9 years in a row. It's the postseason where Phoenix has fallen short like 30 other teams to the Atlanta Dominators.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
Both kickers and the primary returners all return for thus season.
PREDICTION: 8-8
Los Angeles has been a team in limbo for the past 5 seasons finishing right around 8-8 in 4 of those 5 seasons. The owner has a winning track record and the team has overall good speed but they just haven't been able to get over the proverbial hump in recent years.

The entire special teams unit returns from last season.
PREDICTION: 7-9
Vegas has been owned by one of the "founders" of the XFL for 28 seasons. For 18 of the past 27 seasons they have made the postseason. In recent years, they have missed the postseason 4 of the last 5 years and finished last season 3-13 which is the worst in francise history. They improve this season as they take a step back towards the postseason.
SEATTLEOWNER: Rialto (11th season)
LAST SEASON: 3-13 (3rd place)
OFFENSE: 27th
They lost their 4th string QB to retirement plus a depth TE left via free agency and a depth WR retired. They also lost 4 OL including 2 starters and 2 backups. They drafted 4 OL in the 2nd, 3rd, 5th & 6th rounds. They signed another QB and 3 OL in free agency.
DEFENSE: 32nd
They lost 1 DE, 1LB & 2 DBs from last year's 32nd ranked defense. They drafted 2 DTs in the first 6 picks of the draft plus a DB in the 3rd round who should all start and improve the leagues worse defense. They also added a DE and LB in free agency.
SPECIAL TEAMS:
Both kickers and 2 returners return but 1 punt returner WR Stephan Allen retired after having a rare punt return TD last season.
PREDICTION: 4-12
The current owner has had 10 straight losing seasons and never finished better then 6-10 in a season. In fact, the Barbarians have exactly 6 combined wins the last 3 seasons. They lack overall team speed but with the drafting of 2 elite level DTs they should at least improve on run defense this season.
NORTHMONTANAOWNER: Trslick (30th season)
LAST SEASON: 11-5 (Division Champ)
OFFENSE: 19th
They lost their 4th leading receiver but all 11 starters return from last year's 19th ranked offense. They drafted a QB in the 3rd round who really turned heads in camp and could be the QB of the future for the Grizzlies. The entire special teams unit returns for thus season and they are elite at every position.
PREDICTION: 10-6
Montana has been owned by one of the founders of the XFL for 30 seasons and they are coming off an 11-5 season and a NXC North division Title. The 11 wins is a francise best and they rode a top 10 defense to the postseason. The defense returns mostly intact with some additions and they will look to have back to back winning seasons since 2037 & 2038.
GEM CITYOWNER: Raidergreg69 (29th season)
LAST SEASON: 9-7 (2nd place/Wildcard)

The entire defense returns including all 11 starters from last year's 15th ranked defense and they drafted a LB in the 2nd round to add depth. They signed 1 DE, 1 DT, 2 LBs and 1 DB to help improve the defense.
SPECIAL TEAMS:
One of the best special teams units in the league returns for another season.
PREDICTION: 10-6
Gem City has been owned by one of the founders of the XFL for 29 years but he is still only the 2nd longest tenured owner in the NXC North behind Trslick. 11 of the last 12 seasons, the Gangsters have had a winning record and they have completely rebuild their offense after making a big trade in the off-season. They should still have a winning record but may still be 1 step behind Montana in the North.
ZEHLENDORFOWNER: Ctiger77 (14th season)
LAST SEASON: 3-13 (3rd place)

PREDICTION: 4-12
Zehlendorf has gone 11 straight seasons with a losing record and after trading their best receiver for future picks, it looks like the streak will reach an even dozen.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
Their Kicker retired and their Punter left in free agency but the primary Returners both returned. They drafted a Kicker & a Punter in the 6th round and both have a chance to start.
PREDICTION: 4-12
The Punishers were once perennial contenders making the postseason 9 straight seasons (2030-2038) and winning 3 straight NXC Conference Championships (2035-2037) but they have fallen on hard times and have a 10 season streak with a losing record. In fact, the team has won just 10 games combined in the last 5 seasons. They have a few playmakers at WR and they have a solid LB core but they are still a ways away from having a winning record.
SOUTHATLANTAOWNER: Hammond (4th season)
LAST SEASON: 15-1 (XFL CHAMP)
OFFENSE: 9th

SPECIAL TEAMS:
Both Kickers return but the primary returner was traded to Daytona for a 1st round pick. They also drafted a Kicker to compete for the starting job.
PREDICTION: 12-4
The Maniacs have had a winning record for 8 straight seasons and had tremendous success but like 31 other teams, they have been a victim of Atlanta's dominance. With their QB retiring and them trading away some offensive playmakers, Memphis is retooling to make another run at the Dominators.
CAROLINAOWNER: Drhayhurst (8th season)

PREDICTION: 5-11
Carolina has had 8 straight losing seasons, 7 under the current owner as he bought the team right near the beginning of Atlanta's historic run in their division. They have an elite RB but lack overall team speed which will need to change if Carolina wants to compete in the loaded NXC South.

SPECIAL TEAMS:
They lost both Kickers to free agency plus their primary returner walked in free agency. Luckily they had an additional Kicker & Punter on the roster and it's their time to start.
PREDICTION: 10-6
After buying the francise in 2046 and going 10-6, the Fireballs have finished 6-10 the past 2 seasons as the team focused on rebuilding the roster. They have some elite speed on both sides of the ball and should take a step towards contention this season.
