In the highly competitive East, Philadelphia (5-3) sits in 1st place just 1/2 game better then the two 2nd place teams. Jouameng is in his 2nd year of ownership and is looking to improve on back to back (8-8) seasons.
Providence (4-3-1) is tied for second place and under new ownership. Rednu took ownership of a floundering New York francise during the last draft when the team made a questionable 1st round pick. Selecting 7th overall, the previous regime took a FB that wasnt even in most mock drafts top 100 players. The backslash from that draft pick had the previous owner sell the team amongst all the criticism to the new ownership group who moved the team to Providence. As a side note, the controversial selection, FB Richie Pritchett was cut by new ownership and is currently out of football.
Brooklyn (4-3-1) is tied for 2nd place. After 4 disappointing seasons in Dallas, the previous 2 seasons under owner Amalric7, the team was moved to Brooklyn to fill the void in New York after the original New York francise moved to Providence. With the division so tight, Brooklyn still has 5 division games left in the last 8 games of the season.
Finally Washington (3-5) finds itself in last place. Owned by Crm63, the 7th out of the 9 original owners left in the XFL. Crm63 has led his team to 4 straight division titles and will look to right the ship in the 2nd half to continue that streak. With 5 division games remaining on the scedule, this division is quite lierally up for grabs.
In the West, Seattle (6-1-1) has a comfortable lead in the division. Media mogul Timreesejr is an original owner and looking to follow up his NXC Conference Championship with a trip to XFL V and a XFL Championship.
Arizona (3-3-2) is in 2nd place and 3rd year owner, Wieczoreks is looking to make the playoffs for the first time. With his 2 ties, he sits 8th in the NXC playoff seeding but 6 out of there last 8 games are against teams with 1 win halfway through the season.
The Portland Thunder (1-6-1) is tied for 3rd place in the division. After 4 straight years without making the playoffs, the San Fransico franchise was bought by Yellowcat53 and moved to Portland. One of the 5 teams that moved during the offseason as the league has looked to grow its fan base by bringing pro football to some of the hungry fan bases. Yellowcat53 has taken over a team that needs to be rebuilt and the commisioner believes that Yellowcat is the right man for the job.
Finally Los Angelos (1-6-1) is tied for 3rd place in the division. In Ken357's 2nd year of ownership, he is attempting to turn around a francise that hasnt finished with a winning record in any season. Although the wins havent started to pile up, the team is competing in most games and seems to be heading in the right direction.
In the North, the Gem City Gansters (8-0) have been the biggest surprise in the NXC. The team was bought by Raidergreg69 last season when they were located in Minnesota. The commisioner approved the sale to the Ohio native with full knowledge that the team would be relocating. After finishing last season on a 7-3 stretch, experts expected the team to improve on its 7-9 record from last season but not to this extent. With Raidergregs alleged connection to the mob, guns in the team logo and the scantily clad cheerleaders, Commissioner Cjfred68 was asked if he was worried about tarnishing the image of the XFL. He responded with this quote: " This aint the NFL kid, the XFL is all about hard hitting, no holds barred, good old fashioned American Football, not that watered down, dont touch the quarterback, cant hit a defenseless player, soon to be flag football brand they play in that other league."
Green Bay (6-2) sits in 2nd place. The team is owned by original owner Beefkabaab and he has work to do to continue his streak of 4 straight division titles. It all starts this week as they travel to Gem City to avenge an earlier lose at home. If Green Bay has any hope of winning the division, they have to win this game or they with be 3 games out with 7 games remaining plus the season sweep by Gem City as the tiebreaker.
Detroit (2-5-1) sits in 3rd place in the diviaion. This is Trslick's 3rd season as owner. During the offseason, Detroit changed their team and logo to the Executioners. The name change may have been done to bring a new attitute to the team and incite fear in the opponent or it might have been a sign of what is to come of the coaching staff if things dont start turning around soon.
Finally Chicago (1-7) is in last place in the division. This is James32 3rd year as owner and after an 8-8 season last year, the team has taken a step back this season only winning 1 game. The record is a little misleading since 6 of the first 8 games have been against some of the teams with the best records in the league. In the second half, Chicago plays 7 out of 8 games against teams with .500 records or worse.
In the South, Atlanta (6-2) sits atop the division. Chrisbronext has owned the team for 4 years making the playoffs every season with a NXC Conference Championship and an XFL Championship under his belt, winning XFL III.
Carolina (3-4-1) is in 2nd place, 2 1/2 games behind Atlanta. Jon75 is the last of the 9 original owners left in the XFL. He has alternated each of his first 4 seasons making the playoffs twice which includes a NXC Conference Championship where he lost in XFL I. They have already been swept by Atlanta in the division so they will be playing to get a wildcard spot
Tampa Bay (1-7) is tied for 3rd place in the division. They are owned by Caualcnote in his 2nd year of ownership. After going 10-6 last season and making the playoffs, it appears they are in the process of rebuilding the team.
Memphis Maniacs (1-7) are also tied for 3rd place and currently without an owner. The commisioner was very disappointed that an owner had bought the club, moved them to Memphis and made the playoffs last season, only to bail out of the league leaving the club ownerless. Without a quality owner in place, this team has taken a nosedive and hopefully a new owner will buy the club and get them back on track.
