With 12 games in the books, the race to the playoffs will heat up in the final 4 games of the season. Once again, a big welcome to all the new owners and welcome back greyghost1225, you were missed. The league is full and thriving and I want to thank all the owners for making this a great league.

AXC

WEST

OAKLAND (11-1)
PRIVATESNOWFLAKE

Once again Oakland has clinched the division. The 2 time XFL Champion continues to dominant boasting the 2nd total offense in the league. They are 2nd in passing offense and 5th in rushing offense. The current #1 seed has the #2 offense in the league and will look for back to back XFL Titles. The offense is led by QB, Hersel Owen who is 2nd in passing yards with 3110 yards and 21 TDs.

KANSAS CITY (7-5)
ARJONA16

While KC cant win the division, they are still alive for a wildcard spot. Currently they sit in the 10th seed but only trail the current 6th seed by 1 game. The schedule does them no favors as there next 2 games are against 11-1 teams, Gem City and Oakland. If they can somehow manage a split, the final 2 games are against a 2 win Denver and 1 win LA(A).

DENVER (2-10)
PLASTEREDPICKL2

Denver is elimanated from the playoffs but the team has hope for the future. New ownership has stepped in and will look to turn around the francise. The process has already begun as several player cuts and signings have already happened with the team looking towards the future. The team should be drafting in the top ten and that pick may go a long way in defining the direction this francise takes in the future.

LOS ANGELOS (1-11)
BHASS

LA is eliminated from the playoffs and will look towards the draft to improve the team. With only 1 win, the team should be selecting in the top 5 and will look to add elite talent. Last year, LA had the 6th pick in the draft and selcted Robert Page (RDE). Page has been a bright spot during a dismal season tallying 12 sacks in his rookie season.

EAST

BUFFALO (9-3)
SMIRT211

Buffalo leads the division once again but has 2 teams right on their heels. They currently sit in the 4th seed but much can change the last 4 games as Buffalo plays all 4 games against teams with winning records including 2 games against the teams chasing them for the division title. Buffalo boast the #1 total offense and is #1 rushing offense.

MIAMI (8-4)
GRIDIRONFAN

They sit in 2nd place in the division, a game behind the division leader. They also currently sit in the 5th seed for the playoffs. After dropping a week 12 match against Buffalo, Miami will need to beat Buffalo in the week 15 rematch if they are to have any chance to win the division. Miami boasts the #3 offense and pass offense in the league with WR Melvin Anderson leading the league in receiving yards at 1087 yards. QB, David Walton is 3rd in the league with 3031 passing yards with 16TDs.

NEW ENGLAND (7-5)
DENDRO

The team sits in 3rd place and still has an outside chance to win the division. They sit in the #8 seed and have a higher chance to claim a wildcard spot. They have the #5 defense in the league and are #1 against the pass. The week 13 matchup where they host Miami will go along way in both deciding the division winner and which team has a better chance to land a wildcard spot.

NEW YORK (5-7)
BROHL

While the team is still mathematically alive for a playoff spot, it would take the team winning out and getting some help to make it. On the upside, NY has matched the win total from last season and 1st round pick RDE James Brown looks like a future star. The team has the QB of the future but will need to shore up its defense to take the team to the next level.

NORTH

BIRMINGHAM (11-1)
FROSTY96

The Bolts are a prime example of a team taking it to the next level in one season. After an 8-8 record last season, the Baltimore francise packed its bags and move to Birmingham. Two 1st round picks later LB Greenwald and S Cummins turn a middle of the pack defense into the #2 defense in the league. With the division all but locked up, the team sits in the #2 seed and has its sights set on the #1 seed. The defense is led by DE, Joshua Hill who has 24 sacks which is a single season record with 4 games remaining.

CINCINNATI (8-4)
FHUNT3

For the team that has owned the North for years, they fond themselfs tied for 2nd, 3 games behind the division leader with 4 to play. Barring a miracle, Cincy will fight for a wildcard spot and currently sit in the #6 seed. With 3 out of the 4 remaining games against teams with losing records, the chances look good for the team to hold on to that last playoff spot.

PITTSBURGH (8-4)
ARMCHAIRQB

Pittsburgh is another team that has shown great improvement this season. After a 2-14 season last year, the team has improved to win 8 games so far and with 1 more win will guarantee a winning season. The team is currently the #7 seed and will look to make a playoff push the final 4 weeks of the season. The team has a top ten offense and defense plus added plenty of depth in last years draft. The team has 48 players with 7 years of experience or less so as long as they manage the cap and continue to draft well, this team should be competitive for years to come.

CLEVELAND (0-11-1)
TMAN0115

The team hasnt won a game despite having played 5 games decided by 7 points or less. After back to back seasons with 3 wins, the team has taken a step further back and obviously is looking to draft at the top of the draft next year. The team isnt devoid of talent with several probowl players on the roster but it hasnt come together for the team. There have been rumblings that none of the coaching staff is safe and a new voice might be what is needed to get the most out of the talent on the roster. Next season should be a make or break year for this francise because the level of talent should be producing more wins. We will be keeping an eye on this team and the direction they take in the future.

SOUTH

DAKOTA(10-2)
CJFRED68

The Blizzard once again sits atop the division and sits at the #3 seed. The team usually starts slow and finishes strong but this year have gotten off to a great start. Their only 2 loses are to division leaders and the team has 2 games remaining against division leaders Buffalo and Oakland. The team has always been built around defense and a good running game and this season is no different as they have the #1 total defense, 4th against the pass and 3rd against the run and the 3rd ranked rush offense. The defense is led by CB Gordon Speed with 5 INTs and the offense is led by Earl Campbell who is 3rd in rushing with 744 yards and 4 TDs.

HOUSTON (7-5)
DYLUCKYGUESS

The team is in 2nd place, 3 games behind the division lead. They currently sit as the #9 seed but are only 1 game behind the last wildcard spot. Houston has 3 games remaining against teams with losing records and will look to make a playoff push in the fonal 4 games. The team has finished 11-5 the last 2 seasons making the playoffs as a wildcard in both seasons so they will look to win out and make it 3 in a row. They have the #3 defense and are #2 against the pass. The defense is led by MLB Matthew Nunez with 73 tackles.

INDIANAPOLIS (4-8)
MARDN72

This is a team that has been looking for a permanent owner to step in and give the francise some direction. After years of searching, the league believes they have found that owner. MarDn72 has bought the team and will look to turn this francise into a contender. Despite a lack of ownership, the team has had some success in the past but never had a longterm direction. The team has a core of around a dozen players to build around and it should be interesting to see what the new owner does in free agency, the draft and if he makes any trades. Rumors are coming out that the team may be moving next season to Milwaukee but the Commissioner hasnt commented when questioned.

JACKSONVILLE (2-10)
FITPTA12

The team is eliminated from the playoffs but there is hope for the francise as they have been bought by a new ownership group out of Daytona Beach. The sale was approved by the league with the francise moving next season to Daytona Beach where they will change there name to the Bull Sharks. This is the 3rd owner in 3 years for the francise but the Commissioner believes this owner will offer a permanent direction for this francise. The team has a nucleus of players to build around and it will be an exciting offseason for the south division with possibly 2 teams moving and new owners upping the competition level.

Jacksonville has already matched their win total for the season after 1 week under the new ownership as well. This teams future is looking as bright as the sun on the beach in Daytona.

The much delayed, heavily anticipated report on the NXC is here

NXC

EAST

PROVIDENCE (87-6-4-1)
REDNU

The once lackluster New York franchise that was run by one of the absolute worst owners in recent history was mercifully bought by new owner Rednu and moved to Providence in the offseason. Its funny what an active and knowledgeable owner can do for a francise. In his first full season as owner, Rednu has turned this team around and has them sitting in 1st place. The team boast the #5 offense and passing offense and will look to hold off the rest of the division.

WASHINGTON (7-6)
CRM63

The team sits in 2nd place and currently holds the 8th seed in the playoff picture. Washington has won the division every season since the start of the XFL, and will have to win out and get some help to make it 5 in a row. Falling short of that, they still have a chance to grab a wildcard spot. The team has the 4th ranked defense and is 3rd in pass defense.

PHILADELPHIA (6-7)
JOUAMENG

The team is in 3rd place due to its week 13 lose to Washington and currently is the 9th seed in the playoff picture. The team has finished 8-8 the last 2 seasons and looks to be on pace to match that record for a 3rd time. They will need to win out and get lots of help to make the playoffs.

BROOKLYN (5-7-1)
AMALRIC7

The team is in 4th place in the division but still mathematically alive for a playoff spot. After 3 straight losing seasons, they will need to win the last 3 games to finish with a winning record and basically pray for many things to go there way to sneak into the playoffs. Regardless of where they finisg this season, the team has definately made positive strides in an ultra competitive division.

WEST

SEATTLE (9-3-1)
TIMREESEJR

Last years NXC Conference Champions are in 1st place and currently hold the #3 seed in the playoff picture. The team still has a good shot to land a 1st round bye because they are 1/2 game behind Atlanta and hold the tiebreaker due to their week 5 win against them.

ARIZONA (7-4-2)
WIECZOREKS

They sit in 2nd place and hold the #6 seed in the playoffs in large part to 2 ties this season. They would need to win out and have Seattle lose out to win the division so there sights are on locking up 1 of the 2 wildcard spots. This is Wieczoreks 3rd season as owner and he will look to make the playoffs for the 1st time this season after falling just short last season at 9-7.

PORTLAND (3-9-1)
CLAYMORE

The team sits in 3rd place but has already been elimated from the playoffs. The team was bought recently by new ownership after being moved to Portland. This is 5 straight years missing the playoffs but the city had hope as the new owner has promised to turn this francise around. He believes he has the players in house to build around to make this team a contender.

LOS ANGELOS (2-10-1)
KEN357

The team sits in last place and has been elimated from the playoffs. This is the 2nd year of ownership for Ken357 as he attempts to bring the first winning season to an LA francise. The team make it to the playoffs in each of its first 2 seasons with 8-8 records so Ken357 will look to improve on the fortunes of a francise in one of the larger markets in the XFL.

NORTH

GEM CITY GANSTERS (12-1)
RAIDERGREG69

The team sits in 1st place and has clinched a playoff birth while sitting at the #1 seed in the conference. This is Raidergreg69s 2nd season of ownership after moving the francise from Minnesota. Gem City has the #4 offense in the league and boasts the #1 passing offense and the #4 rush defense. Rookie MLB John Dillinger has helped to bolster the defense but is currently injured and the team hopes to get him back healthy in time for the playoffs.

GREEN BAY (10-3)
BEEFKABABB

They are in 2nd place and currently hold the #5 seed in the playoffs. There string of 4 straight division championship looks to be in jeopardy as they have been sweeped by Gem City in the division and trail them by 2 games. They will need to win out and have Gem City lose out to capture the division crown. Barring that miracle, they looked primed to at least make the playoffs for the 5th straight year as they do have the #5 pass defense in the league.

CHICAGO (4-9)
JAMES32

The team sits in 3rd place and has been elimated from the playoffs. The francise has never made the playoffs but they do have an improving defense currently ranked #11, if they can improve their offense in the offseason, they may find themselves challenging for a playoff spot next season.

DETROIT (2-10-1)
TRSLICK

They are in last place in the division and find themselves elimated from the playoffs. Another francise still looking for that 1st trip to the playoffs, they defiantely have shown some improvement. They boast the #1 rush defense and the #9 pass offense so if they can build on those successes in the offseason, there is no reason the team cant improve next season to contend for the division or at least a wildcard.

NXC

SOUTH

ATLANTA (10-3)
CHRISBRONEXT

The former XFL Champions sit in 1st place and currently hold the #2 seed in the playoffs. They will look to hold off a Seattle team that beat them earlier this year to secure a 1st round bye. One of the most successful francises in the NXC under owner Chrisbronext, they have made 2 trips to the XFL Championship game winning one and look primed to make the playoffs for the 4th straight year. The team has the #2 rush offense and seemingly has a top ten defense every season currently ranked #8.

CAROLINA (7-5-1)
JON75

They currently sit in 2nd place in the division and are the #7 seed in the playoff race in the NXC. The francise has made it to the playoffs in 2 outta the first 4 seasons, never had a losing record and has 1 NXC Conference Championship under its belt. The schedule has done Carolina no favors as there last 3 games are against teams with winning records. With the schedule the way it is, if Carolina does make it to the playoffs, they will be a team nobody will want to play due to the team being so battle tested.

MEMPHIS MANIACS (4-9)
GREYGHOST1225

The team sits in 3rd place and is elimated from the playoffs. After making the playoffs last sesson, the francise went through some upheaval as questions about ownership and who was running the francise came into question. Thankfully for the league and the francise, Greyghost1225 has reclaimed full ownership and the team should e back in contention quickly under his control. There was much rejoicing in Memphis!

TAMPA BAY (1-12)

The team is in last place, elimated from the playoffs and firmly in contention for next years #1 pick. A 10-6 playoff team last season, ownership has chosen to rebuild from the ground up. The rebuild will begin in earnest in the offseason and the draft will be the primary place the team hopes to build from.

Again, I apologize for the delay but its finally done. It should be an exciting last couple of weeks for the teams in the playoff hunt. For those owners elimated, its time to look ahead and make plans on how to improve your team. The offseason can be just as exciting as you hope to sign that bluechip free agent and of course the draft is always interesting. I expect the trade market to be wide open with all our new owners looking to make a splash. Once again, thanks for the patience and I hope everyone enjoyed my breakdowns.
