GREEN BAY ENFORCERS
REESESKING

STARTER
DT Buentello

BACKUP
TE Basaldua
RDE Powers (1st rounder)

FRINGE
QB Montgomery
RB Mason

CUT
WR Harris
RT Hays

RDE Powers will make the team as a backup as RDE3, or moved outside as SLB2 or WLB2. QB Montgomery will foght to make the roster as a 3rd QB and the same for RB Mason as RB4. TE Basaldua will make the team and will battle to start. DT Buentello makes the team as a solid DT2.

GEM CITY GANSTERS
RAIDERGREG69

STARTER
CB Bulger
FS Gotti (1st rounder)

BACKUP
LT Colombo
RT Gigante

FRINGE
QB Corleone
K Fring

Some interesting decisions for the Champs await. QB Corleone will battle to make the team as a backup against a 9 year vet. K Fring is clearly capable of being a starter in this league but the Gansters already have a great K in McClung.
CB Bulger should move to SS where he could start immediately. FS Gotti will start at FS but could also move to corner where he becomes CB1.
LT Colombo will make the team and will battle to start while RT Gigante will battle to land a roster spot as a backup.

DETROIT EXECUTIONERS
TRSLICK

STARTER
TE Johnson (1st rounder)
WR Powell
C Burk
SS Parkhill

BACKUP
none

FRINGE
SS Terry

CUT
CB Halbert

TE Johnson, C Burk and SS Parkhill all start on day 1. WR Powell starts but will compete to be anywhere from WR1-WR3. SS Terry is on the fringe but due to a lack of depth on the roster, he may stick as a backup at safety.

CHICAGO AVENGERS
JAMES32

STARTER
QB Albert

BACKUP
WR Cardinale

FRINGE
QB Grady

CUT
TE High
WR Stamey

QB Albert will make the team and will battle to become QB1 in the preseason. QB Grady only makes the roster if the team keeps 3 QBs. WR Cardinale should make the team as depth at WR5.

CAROLINA COBRAS
JON75

STARTER
WLB Stephens (1st rounder)

BACKUP
CB Fortner

FRINGE
QB Brown
RT Norby
DT Solem

CUT
LT Simmons

WLB Stephens starts day 1 while CB Fortner makes the team as depth at either SS2 or CB4. QB Brown will battle to make the team as a backup. DT Solem hasnt impressed in camp but has a chance to make the roster due to lack of depth at DT. RT Norby sits on the fringe, battling to land a backup/depth role on the o-line.

TAMPA BAY FIREBALLS
CASUALCNOTE

STARTER
LT Randall
WLB Friedman (1st rounder)
CB Rich

BACKUP
C Benard
LDE Bourg
RDE Ballard

FRINGE
SLB Lyons

CUT
none

The 1st overall pick in the draft WLB Friedman came into camp and proved why he was taken first. While he is a stub at WLB, Friedman should be moved inside to MLB immediately where he would start for the next 10 years. CB Rich could start at CB1 but some experts believe his best position would be SS. LT Randall should start week 1.
C Benard and LDE Bourg will both make the team as backups while RDE Ballard should make the team as backup at DE or DT. SLB Lyons sits on the fringe trying to earn a depth role at LB.

STARTER
LDE Deleon

BACKUP
FB Lucas
SS Anderson
FS Babineaux

FRINGE
none

CUT
TE Clark

FB Lucas will battle for the starter position. LDE Deleon will start in game 1. FS Babineaux should be moved to corner where he has a chance to win the slot corner position. SS Anderson will make the team at safety and has a decent shot at starting at SS.

ATLANTA DOMINATORS
CHRISBRONEXT

STARTER
FB Mansfeld
MLB Smith
CB Kimball

BACKUP
none

FRINGE
CB Hill

CUT
SLB Bishop

FB Mansfeld will start while CB Kimball should move to safety where he starts at SS. MLB Smith hasnt wowed the coaching staff in training camp but due to depth issues at MLB, Smith still has an inside shot to start. CB Hill will battle to make the team as corner depth at CB5.

Finally, I finished the traing camp review. Sorry it took so long but it takes time to scout each team and figure out where the rookies fit.

I come away from this amazed at the level of competition in this league. 25 out of the 32 1st round picks will start this season. Of the 7 that wont start, 4 will become starters eventually. Of the 3 remaining, 1 is a backup QB which leaves 2 players that probably wont start in this league but make the roster as depth.

Great job by all the owners. This season the competition will continue to intensify so making the playoffs and winning your division becomes that much harder.

To everyone, have a healthy preseason as we prepare for season 6 of the XFL.

It's also refreshing to see a pre-season waiver wire with nothing but castoffs listed!!
