I just want to thank all 31 owners for being a part of the XFL. This league has long been my favorite as I've poured 100s of hours into adding a ton of extra content.
It only matters if I have owners to appreciate it all and for that I am eternally grateful.
I'm thankful for all the longtime owners who have stuck around from the start and everyone who has joined at various points along the way.
Yes, even the newest owners are appreciated. Without them, we would have francises run into the ground. I appreciate the effort taken to bring life back into those francises.
Version 4.6 has put a damper on this game but I truly hope everyone will stick around and stick it out and maybe we get a newer version sooner rather then later.
Personally, I could live with 4.6 if the passing game could be fixed, even slightly to make the stats more in line with the NFL of the 2020s.
I look at Trevor Lawrence's rookie season and how it was viewed as a Great disappointment for such a talented prospect. He threw for 3,641 yards, had 13 TD passes and 17 interceptions.
Even if I adjust his stats to 16 instead of 17 games...he ends up with an average of 214 yards passing per game or 3,426 yards. If you compare that to the XFL stats thru 14 games, he would rank 2nd in passing yard (214×14=2996).
Even his 13 touchdowns would rank him in the top 10 as we only have 10 players with double digit TD passes with 2 games to play.
