2024 1.1
MLB Robert Canfield 85/86☆This 6'1" 242 lb linebacker out of Texas A&M is the prototypical three down MLB that can call the defense, stuff the run, and drop into coverage. He has the potential to be an elite playmaker on defense for years to come.
Grade A
He played 9 seasons with Texas after signing 6 year/23.4 million dollar contract extension in 2027 before becoming a free agent in 2033 where he signed a 1 year/0.496 million dollar contract with Brooklyn. Brooklyn cut him right before the 2033 season and he signed a 3 year/3.8 milliin dollar contract with Philly after week 2 before he retired after the 2033 season. 2025 1.6
TE Jordon Moore 80/92☆Texas selects All-World college TE, Moore with the 6th pick. Scouts ranked him the best tightend in the draft and he is the complete package both in blocking and pass catching.
Grade A
He played 9 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/17.1 million dollar contract extension in 2027 and a 3 year/12.8 million dollar contract extension in 2032 before retiring after the 2033 season. He played in 129 games including 110 starts where he amassed 427 receptions for 4,036 yards and 19 TD receptions. He helped Texas win the 2033 XFL Title.
2025 1.24
RB Enoch Brown 73/81☆Listed as a running back, Brown has the size and strength to be a powerful fullback in the pros. It will be interesting to see if Texas trys to use him as a feature back or moves him to fullback where scouts feel he is best suited.
Grade A
He played 10 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/11.5 million dollar contract extension in 2027 and a 4 year/8.4 million dollar contract extension in 2032 before being released prior to the 2035 season. He signed a 1 year/1.3 million dollar contract with Cincinnati in 2035 and a 1 year/2.8 million dollar contract with Washington in 2036. 2026 1.1
CB David Peterson 30/92☆An absolute future lockdown corner with elite speed and cover skills. The only concern is his size, can his frame hold up in the XFL for the long run?
Grade A
He played 12 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/35.8 million dollar contract extension in 2029 followed by a 5 year/63.0 million dollar contract extension in 2034 before retiring after the 2038 season. He helped Texas win the 2033 XFL Title.
2026 1.3
FS Arthur Fair 34/85☆Texas grabs their 2nd defensive back with the 3rd pick. Fair could play opposite Peterson to create a young dynamic pair of corners but scouts see him as a better safety. Texas has veteran corner Brinkman who can play CB2 which would open up Fair to move to SS where the team lacks a starter or depth.
Grade A
He played 10 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/18.1 million dollar contract extension in 2029 followed by a 3 year/14.1 million dollar contract extension after the 2034 season only to be released prior to the 2035 season. He helped Texas win the 2033 XFL Title.
2026 1.5
RB John Taylor 40/81☆This is Texas's 3rd pick in the top 5 and it seems like they reached a little for this selection. Taylor was seen by scouts as the 2nd or 3rd best back in the draft and projected him to go somewhere in the middle to end of the 1st round. Also an odd choice considering the next pick, RB Melvin Shaw was still available and graded much higher across the board.
Grade C
He played 10 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/24.4 million dollar contract extension in 2029 followed by a 5 year/51.9 million dollar contract extension in 2034 before being released prior to the 2036 season where he signed a 4 year/44.2 million dollar contract with Philadelphia. In 2038, he was released prior to week 3 and he was picked up off waivers by Los Angeles before retiring at the end of the season. 2026 1.23 WR James Shepherd 33/77☆Texas uses their 4th pick in the 1st round to select an undersized receiver with incredible quickness. Scouts see him as a potential slot reciever who can use his acceleration and route running to get open in space.
Grade B+
He played 4 seasons with Texas before the team allowed him to walk via free agency in 2030. He signed a 6 year/125.6 million dollar contract in 2030 during free agency with Buffalo and redid his contract in 2031 at 6 years/102.0 million before he retired after the 2034 season. He played 129 games including 113 starts where he finished with 694 yards rushing, 3 rushing TDs, 571 receptions for 8,509 yards and 44 TD receptions. He played 156 games including 109 starts where he had 450 receptions for 7,742 yards receiving and 59 TD receptions.

MLB Robert Spicer 38/85 6' 1" 246 lbs

Texas uses their 3rd 1st round pick to take one of the 5 linebackers ranked as a 1st rounder. With his size and speed, he plays the run equally as well as the pass and should man the middle for years to come.

2027 1.16
SLB Johnnie Perez 36/78☆6' 2" 246 lbs
Washington
Texas continues to bolster their defense with this outside linebacker with great pass rush potential. He could bulk up and play defensive end but he has solid pass coverage skills so WLB may be his best position.
Grade A-
He played 9 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/13.4 million dollar contract extension in 2030 before retiring after the 2038 season. He played 121 games including 23 starts where he has 243 tackles, 1 sack, 7 hurries, 36 knockdowns, 9 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles and a 57.8 catch allowed percentage on 256 passes defended. 2027 1.19
RT Jerry Coleman 46/87☆6' 5" 327 lbs

2028 1.28
CB James Day 29/85☆6' 0" 205 lbs

2030 1.19
WR Andrew Muldrow 34/84☆6' 0" 191 lbs
Alabama
This Alabama prospect has a nice combination of speed, quickness and a willingness to fight for the ball in traffic. Concerns over his ball security have scared some owners away but he should make an impact.
Grade B

He has played in 132 games including 122 starts where he has 356 receptions, 4,118 yards receiving and 25 TD receptions. He helped Texas win the 2033 XFL Title.
2030 1-27
WR Rodolfo Morell 33/79☆6' 0" 199 lbs
Alabama
Texas takes a 2nd WR in the 1st round to add to a stable of 5 young recievers all in their rookie or 2nd year with a 6th in year 4. This gives them 5 recievers rated in speed/acceleration of 87/88, 88/73, 76/87, 84/69, 84/91 and 86/81. Its clear with Randal Cunningham nearing retirement, Texas has plans on taking over the AXC South division for years to come.
Grade A
He played 6 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/13.8 million dollar contract extension in 2033 before being released prior to the 2037 season. 2034 1.32
RB Michael Durkin 25/69☆6' 3" 246 lbs
Louisville
The defending Champs take the 2nd straight player out of Louisville. He is a former FB/TE type player that they feel can transition to running back in the XFL. With some weight lose, he could approach elite speed and has all the necessary attributes to become a great back. The only question scouts have is his ball security since he had issues with fumbles in college.
Grade B
He played 8 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/14.2 million dollar contract extension in 2036 before becoming a free agent in 2042 where he signed a 2 year/1.7 million dollar contract with Houston. He would be released prior to week 5 of the 2043 season and he eventually retired after the 2045 season. He played 114 starts including 48 starts where he had 1,525 yards rushing, 7 TDs rushing, 249 receptions, 2,651 yards receiving and 18 TD receptions.
2035 1.20
SS Benjamin Sanders 39/85☆5' 11" 206 lbs
Tallahassee State
Texas adds some speedy youth to its aging secondary in the form of this safety. He has a solid chance to play day one as the starter Fair is entering his 10th season.
Grade A
He played 8 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/35.4 million dollar contract extension in 2038. In 2044, he became a free agent where he signed a 4 year/33.0 million dollar contract with Oakland before he retired after the 2046 season. He played 190 games including 131 starts where he totaled 981 tackles, 15 forced fumbles, 76 knockdowns, 16 interceptions and a 51.4 catch allowed percentage on 539 passes defended.
2035 1.31
CB Paul Bernabe 32/77☆5' 11" 194 lbs
Louisiana State
Bernabe is a press corner who attacks the football during 50/50 ***** plus is a great open field tackler. Scouts are concerned about his lack of speed and man to man coverage skills on the outside. He will have to prove he can cover and keep up with some of the elite speed in the league or he may become a special team/dime corner.
Grade B-
He played 9 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/29.2 million dollar contract extension in 2038 before he ultimately retired after the 2048 season. He played 138 games including 64 starts where he totaled 487 tackles, 10 forced fumbles, 2 sacks, 1 hurry, 131 knockdowns, 10 interceptions and a 51.6 catch allowed percentage on 547 passes defended.
2036 1.28
SS Ted Schmidt 46/78☆5 ' 11" 206 lbs
Iowa
Texas selects this safety known for being a hard hitting player with good speed and quickness. Texas is a team that has arrived in recent years winning double digit games the last 6 seasons, making the playoffs 5 of the last 6 seasons and a constant challenge to the perennial playoff team in Dakota including winning it all in 2033.
Grade A-
He played 4 seasons with Texas on his 4 year rookie contract before the team allowed him to walk via free agency in 2040 where he signed a 6 year/38.8 million dollar contract with Gem City. Prior to the 2044 season, he was released by Gem City and he would retire after the 2044 season. He played 112 games including 49 starts where he had 300 tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles, 73 knockdowns, 5 interceptions and a 52.0 catch allowed percentage on 356 passes defended.
2037 1.14
LDE Michael Stevens 30/88☆Vol 12
6' 1" 269 lbs
Cal-Poly SLO
Scouts had Stevens rated the best pure pass rusher in the draft and he was considered a top ten pick. Texas must have been ecstatic to have him fall into his lap but some teams maybe were scared because his strength didn't measure high at the combine but there is no denying his speed.
Grade A+
He played 12 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/30.6 million dollar contract extension in 2040 and a 4 year/24.8 million dollar contract extension in 2045 before he retired after the 2048 season. He played 191 games including 136 starts where he amassed 817 tackles, 14 sacks, 8 hurries, 7 forced fumbles, 132 knockdowns, 9 interceptions and a 51.0 catch allowed percentage on 717 passes defended.
2037 1.32
LDE Stephen Smith 27/80☆Vol 72
6' 5" 288 lbs
Wake Forest
Smith is the last pick in the 1st round but he may be the best pure pass rushing defensive end in the draft. He has incredible size and length to gain the edge coupled with a unique combination of power and speed. If he fully develops at the next level, he could become a dominant force.
Grade A
He played 9 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/58.0 million dollar contract extension in 2040 before becoming a free agent in 2046 where he signed a 5 year/10.2 million dollar contract with Tampa and he retired after the 2047 season. He played 161 games including 142 starts where he tallied 291 tackles, 117 sacks, 131 hurries and 6 forced fumbles. In 2037, he was selected to the ALLPRO team at DE.
2038 1.14
SS Ross Taylor 25/74☆6' 1" 203 lbs
Arizona
Yet another DB from this deep draft class is selected and Taylor has the versatility to play either safety or corner. Texas lacks quality depth in both areas and Taylor should help strengthen that group no matter where he is used.
Grade A-
He played 9 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/41.2 million dollar contract extension in 2041. He became a free agent in 2047 where he signed a 3 year/45.7 million dollar contract with Kansas City. He played 187 games including 135 starts where he had 719 tackles, 6 forced fumbles, 171 knockdowns, 33 interceptions and a 56.6 catch allowed percentage on 875 passes defended.
2039 1.14
WR Manuel Bigelow 31/85☆5' 11" 197 lbs
Pittsburgh
Bigelow entered the draft considered the 2nd best WR on the board in a deep class of 10 possible 1st rounders. His speed is just under elite level and his receiving skills are potentially great but his size and ability to make contested catches has been questioned. Texas has 3 good WRs already but Myles and Beam are entering season 8 and 9 respectively so Bigelow gets the benefit of learning from quality veterans before eventually replacing them.
Grade A
He played 6 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/24.3 million dollar contract extension in 2042 before he was released prior to the 2045 season and he eventually retired after the 2048 season. He played 80 games including 16 starts where he had 30 receptions, 418 yards receiving and 3 TD receptions.
2040 1.14
LDE Jonathan Leonard 33/816' 3" 280 lbs
Colorodo
Leonard was the 2nd edge rusher on the board and ranked 15th overall so he goes off the board to Texas where getting to the QB in the division with Dakota is a priority. He is considered a safer pick with less upside potential compared to DE Keeter.
Grade A
He played 9 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/60.4 million dollar contract extension in 2043 before becoming a free agent in 2049 where he signed a 6 year/370.4 million dollar contract with Buffalo. He played 148 games including 115 starts where he had 254 tackles, 84 sacks, 76 hurries and 9 forced fumbles. He was selected to the ALLPRO in 2042 with Texas.
2041 1.17
SS Jeremiah Ashbrook 27/745' 10" 192 lbs
Florida A&M
Texas has missed the playoffs for 5 straight seasons despite never finishing worse then 7-9. They have been stuck in limbo and the hope is Ashbrook will improve their 25th ranked defense. Scouts question Ashbrook's size for safety but like his speed and cover skills to become a slot corner or if he excels, a starting corner.
Grade A-
He played 2 seasons with Texas before being traded to Atlanta in 2043 where he signed a 6 year/29.1 million dollar contract. In 2049, he signed a 3 year/43.9 million dollar contract extension to remain with Atlanta. He played 144 games including 83 starts where he had 385 tackles, 1 sack, 8 hurries, 3 forced fumbles, 138 knockdowns, 23 interceptions, 3 pick 6's (10th Alltime) and a 48.5 catch allowed percentage on 538 passes defended. He helped Atlanta with 6 XFL Title from 2043-2049.
SS Jeremiah Ashbrook and 2043 7.22 (DT Oscar Fischer) were traded to Atlanta for 2043 1.32 (RDE Michael Eubanks), 2043 4.32 (WR Claude Young), 2043 6.32 (RB William Ellison) & 2043 7.32 (TE Walter Norman).
Traded for:
RDE Michael Eubanks (7+ starter/1 backup)
WR Claude Young (cut)
RB William Ellison (cut)
TE Walter Norman (cut)
Traded away:
SS Jeremiah Ashbrook (4+ starter/4 backup/6 XFL Title)
DT Oscar Fischer (3+ starter/3 backup/1 depth)
Texas losing this 2 player for 4 draft pick trade as 3 of the 4 draft picks they got never made the roster and just 1 player stuck for 8 seasons and is still active. They gave up 2 players who have combined for 14 seasons and 1 player won 6 XFL Titles with Atlanta.
2042 1.16
RB Christopher Hofmeister 29/735' 9" 209 lbs
Jackson State
Texas takes a solid three down RB out of Jackson State. He is exceptional at any one thing but scouts rate him as solid across the board and he has a chance to become a part of Texas's backfield which is now four deep.
Grade A-
He played 9 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/25.2 million dollar contract extension in 2045. He played 127 games including 101 starts where he had 3,193 yards rushing, 9 rushing TDs, 234 receptions, 1,826 yards receiving and 5 TD receptions.
2043 1.22
QB Robert Williams 29/826' 2" 224 lbs
Nebraska
The third of three 1st round QBs goes #22 to Texas out of Nebraska. Texas had hovered right at .500 for 6 seasons before finally breaking thru and winning 10 games last season. They had success despite having the 32nd ranked pass offense as the team relied on defense and the 10th ranked rushing attack. Texas QB Wesley Taylor had success managing the game but only threw for 1,500 yards but had a solid 12/4 TD/INT ratio. The hope is Williams will open up the passing game based on improved arm talent.
Grade A
He played 7 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/75.3 million dollar contract extension in 2046. He played 82 games including 64 starts where he had 8,242 yards passing, 35 TD passes, 52 INTs and a 66.42 QBR.
2043 1.32
LDE Michael Eubanks 31/766' 3" 265 lbs
Penn State
Back to back defending Champs, Atlanta trades the 32nd pick to Texas who takes the last top 25 ranked prospect remaining. Eubanks has a good combination of size, speed and strength to join the league's #15 ranked defense.
Grade A
He played 8 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/63.3 million dollar contract extension in 2046. He played 102 games including 75 starts where he had 224 tackles, 58 sacks, 55 hurries and 5 forced fumbles.
2044 1.10
SS Albert Dipietro 37/765' 10" 206 lbs
Maryland
Texas lands the best SS in the draft according to most draft experts. Dipietro isn't necessarily elite at any one thing but he is a player whose sum of all his skills make him a great player. He was part of a Maryland defense who fell short to Arizona in the national championship game and scouts believe he can bring that skill, leadership & energy to the XFL & Texas.
Grade A-
He played 4 seasons with Texas before becoming a free agent in 2048 where he signed a 6 year/321.5 million dollar contract with Oakland followed by a 5 year/254.6 million dollar contract in 2049. He played 98 games including 87 starts where he had 595 tackles, 1 hurry, 11 forced fumbles, 57 knockdowns, 2 interceptions and a 44.5 catch allowed percentage on 357 passes defended.
2044 1.27
WR Stephen Powell 41/805' 10" 195 lbs
Auburn
Texas used their 1st pick on defense and this 2nd pick on offense as they select the best remaining WR with the 27th pick. Powell is solid across the board just not elite in any one area plus he has the potential to run the ball making him a versatile player for the offense.
Grade A
He played 4 seasons with Texas before becoming a free agent in 2048 where he signed a 6 year/321.5 million dollar contract with Phoenix. He played 99 games including 71 starts where he had 255 yards rushing, 1 rushing TD, 242 receptions, 3,556 yards receiving and 25 TD receptions.
2045 1.15
WLB Luis Adams 38/776' 0" 219 lbs
Georgia
The run on LBs continues as the 6th LB is selected in the first 15 picks by Texas. Adams is undersized at LB for the XFL and I expect he will transition to SS where he nose for the football & cover skills should make him a starter.
Grade A
He played 4 seasons with Texas before the team let him walk in free agency in 2049 where he signed a 6 year/116.9 million dollar contract with Memphis. He played 81 games including 67 starts where he had 318 tackles, 1 sack, 5 hurries, 5 forced fumbles, 78 knockdowns, 14 interceptions and a 52.0 catch allowed percentage on 373 passes defended.
2046 1.16 Texas
DT Ralph Jordan 44/756' 3" 282 lbs
Towson State
Texas takes this college DT who should transition to DE in the XFL. If he drops 20 lbs he should reach decent enough speed to become an edge rusher at tge next level. While he lacks elite strength, he has shown the ability to set the edge on defense against the run which makes him a solid DE in the XFL.
Grade B+
He played 4 seasons with Texas before the team let him walk in free agency in 2049 where he signed a 6 year/338.0 million dollar contract with Philadelphia. He played 59 games including 57 starts where he had 148 tackles, 20 sacks, 22 hurries and 4 forced fumbles.
2047 1.4
CB Richard Jordon 34/765' 11" 185 lbs
Notre Dame
Texas selects the #2 CB on most draft boards but he wasn't expected to go this high so its a semi-surprise selection. Jordon played for the Notre Dame who won the National Championship in college and should be the first of 3 1st rounders who are Golden Domers. Jordon has elite speed but there is concerns he will lose some speed when he bulks up to play in the XFL. The coverage skills are solid but not elite and he needs to gain around 10 pounds to survive in the pro game which could slow him down. Despite his size, he has always been a willing tackler with a nose for knocking the football loose which could make him a candidate for safety in the XFL.
Grade A
He played 4 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/70.3 million dollar contract extension in 2049. He played 50 games including 38 starts where he had 299 tackles, 6 forced fumbles, 65 knockdowns, 7 interceptions, 1 pick 6 and a 51.8 catch allowed percentage on 251 passes defended.
2048 1.3
RDE Marvin Williams 43/806' 4" 271 lbs
Eastern Illinois
Texas is coming off their worst season in francise history (1-15) under brand new ownership and his first major draft pick is a dominate DE. While using top 10 picks on offensive or defensive linemen isn't sexy, it's a solid & safe pick as Williams should play on the defensive line for the next decade for Texas.
Grade A
He played 3 seasons with Texas after signing a 6 year/102.0 million dollar contract extension in 2050. He played 35 games including 35 starts where he had 61 tackles, 17 sacks, 12 hurries and 1 forced fumble.
2049 1.12
LT Sammie Pittman 25/856' 4" 324 lbs
Michigan State
Texas selects Pittman as the first offensive lineman taken in the draft. It's comes as a surprise as Dellinger was considered the consensus best O-Lineman in the draft. Pittman should start in the XFL for a long time but Dellinger is faster and stronger than Pittman. Both are 6' 4" but Pittman does have 25 pound on Dellinger which may have factored into the decision.
Grade A-
He played 2 seasons with Texas on his 4 year rookie contract. He played 16 games including 16 starts where he allowed 24 sacks on 538 pass blocks & 31 tackles on 350 run blocks while he committed 3 penalties.
2049 1.19
LG John Holt 27/756' 3" 301 lbs
Southern California
Holt won a National Championship in his senior year in college opening holes for the #1 overall pick RB Jarrod Ross but he wasn't considered a 1st round pick entering the draft as you was projected to go somewhere in the late 2nd, 3rd or even 4th round. Texas drafted LT Sammie Pittman with the 12th overall pick ahead of Dellinger who went ahead of this pick as Texas is clearly focused on building their offensive line in this draft. Texas has missed the postseason in 6 straight seasons and they are looking to build the team from the inside out.
Grade B-
He played 2 seasons with Texas on his 4 year rookie contract. He played 2 games including 0 starts where he allowed 0 sacks on 1 pass blocks & 0 tackles on 3 run blocks while he committed 0 penalties.
2050 1.1
FS Frank Nunez 31/865' 11" 208 lbs
Miami
The #1 overall pick comes out of the National Championship Miami Hurricanes in FS Nunez. He was the defensive captain for the Hurricanes and does everything perfectly in coverage. The only knock on him is he lacks elite or even very good sport which could hurt his chances of becoming a real playmaker in the XFL. Some scouts believe his perfect technique will make up for his high end speed but only time will tell.
