Draft Recap Post Training Camp:
JIMMY SCOTT:- DT Oklahoma round 1 pick 15 was suppose to be the linchpin of our D-line with his speed and strength. Denver was ready to see his amazing pass rush and run defense like we saw in college but after training camp we've seen in camp was not that and he seemed lost most of the camp and ineffective. (+9/-7)

MIKE RAYBURN:- QB small school round 2 pick 15 came out of college with a decently strong arm and good speed. We saw some good stuff from Rayburn in camp and was impressed with his skills. The city of Denver and all the extremists should be excited for this kid as our future QB. (+9/+3)

VINCENT MONTGOMERY:- FS Arkansas round 4 pick 19 the pick was acquired in a trade where Denver sent one of their 2 fifth rounders and a future fourth. The biggest surprise of the draftees in training camp as he showed that he has coverage skills to be good in the next level. (+17/+4)

AGUSTIN PARKHURST:- MLB Nebraska round 5 pick 15 came out of college as an average linebacker and after camp showed his aggressiveness for the ball which leads to a high amount of missed tackles. The only good he showed was that he has some decent pass rush and run defense but nothing that distinguished him as someone. (+2/+3)

DAVID NELSON:- WR round 6 pick 15 Oklahoma State had great hands in college but didn't really flash the same hands in training camp. Not a fast receiver in the slightest and did not help himself in the slightest. (+8/+10)

Pre-season Week 1:
This might have been a reason to drink for all Denver fans. The only good to come from this game is knowing that it was just pre-season so improvement is possible. The QB's had a combined 7 completions on over 30+attempts, and this was due in large to the amount of drops that came from the receivers. and the defense was even worse allowing almost every play to seem to be a first down. At least we have 2 more pre-season games and 16 games to watch in pain.
