Just curious if anyone has noticed a sharp uptick in sacks allowed in 2038, the *second* season of 4.6. I had major problems with it this year compared to last season.
2037 - first year of 4.6
QB Steven Stiner -
https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/player/9136 sacked 8 times 40 speed 69 acceleration 33 break tackle
LT Roland Westbury -
https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/player/8352 1 sack allowed 27 years old 89 strength 100 pass blocking
RT Gregory Beard -
https://xfl.myfootballnow.com/player/8069 1 sack allowed 28 years old 99 strength 96 pass blocking
2038 - second year of 4.6
QB Stiner - sacked 59 times
LT Westbury - 23 sacks allowed
RT Beard - 13 sacks allowed
I know Stiner isn't the fastest or great at breaking tackles, but going from one sack every two games to 3.5 sacks every game is pretty ridiculous. I didn't add any long or medium passes to the gameplan this season, and actually took more of them out when the sacks became such a huge problem. Neither of the tackles are over the hill scrubs either, so I'm just scratching my head trying to figure out what changed. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
