Admin left league

If an admin leaves a league is there anyway to replace them or is the league just done? If they can't be replaced, is it possible to run a league without a real admin?

yes they can be replaced ....what you have to do is send a message to everyone in that league and asking if they want to be the ADMIN then once you have people who do then you have to make a POLL where people can vote on who to become the ADMIN then once that person wins the VOTE they become the ADMIN because JDB will give them that title.

guessing you are talking about this league = https://new-age-nfl.myfootballnow.com/forums/1

Dyluckyguess......I took over as admin of this league after the original admin quit the game. While what puisher said is wonderful in theory, in reality most owners dont want the responsibility. In my case, I volunteered and several owners supported my claim, then I PMed JDB and he gladly handed me control.

I honestly believe that a lack of quality, active and invested league admins really hurts the majority of leagues in this game. Especially the generic MFN-# leagues out there. Personally, I quit all but one of those leagues myself because the forums are dead in those leagues. The last MFN-# league Im in, I just lost the conference championship, my QB is entering his 3rd season and the team is built to win longterm but Im seriously considering dropping that team too. The ONLY reason I might stick around is because our very own Smirt211 is in my division and battling him every year for the division is fun.

Never said he didnt want the responsibility. If he does, he should post in the league forum for that league that he wants to become admin, ask if anyone objects and after 24 hours barring objection, PM JDB.

I HOPE HE TAKES THE ADMIN. He is a great owner in my league and I have no doubt, he would make a great admin. Be proactive and go get it.

My point was there is no reason to take a poll because MOST owners simply dont want the responsibility. Nominate yourself and ask for support or objection in the forums. He will get 2 or 3 in support, nobody will object and JDB will make him admin within a day.

Punisher.....I would tell you this by PM but you have me blocked.

This post was made in the league forum of the XFL league. Dyluckyguess was asking my opinion about becoming a league admin because he feels like I am one of the most active league admins in the game.

I have communicated with him by PM about it and have been encouraging him to become admin.

You quit the XFL because you took offense to one of my post. Then you went through the league forums and deleted all your old post. You then told me that I was destined to keep losing owners because of my criticism in the forums and owners wouldnt like that.

You then dont post your usual league championship announcement in my forum because I told you I didnt need your help yet you still cant help yourself from reading the XFL forums and posting in them when you want.

BTW......XFL is full and I have a waiting list to join. Im constantly told by my owners that this is one of there favorite leagues and they enjoy my posts. As much as you want to vilify me and make me out to be the bad guy, maybe you should look in the mirror and realize you may be wrong.

You quit because you made a bad draft pick and I said so. Instead of learning from your mistake, you dug your heels in and turned it into a witch hunt. In retrospect, it was for the best you left because the XFL league is about competition and you dont have the time or inclination to compete at a high level. You own way too many teams to be able to concentrate on signing free agents, drafting and gameplanning for all of them so you have to take shortcuts. Thats not an opinion, its a fact. Plus you post constantly in the forums because you have assumed the responsibilty of some sort of MFN forum administrator. Its cool you cut and paste links for owners, research stats and annouce champions and you serve a purpose but it has to take away from the amount of time you can spent managing rosters and gameplaning for over 60 teams.

Its no coincidence that once you abandoned your team in the XFL, the next owner focused his attention on your roster and made the playoffs in his first season. He had to take a hugh cap hit cutting that pick I criticized you for taking but that player didnt deserve a roster spot.

It just amazes me that someone that has called out owners in the public forums like myself for trading too much, signing too many free agents or going too far negative under the cap cant himself take any sort of criticism. The old saying is dont dish it out if you cant take it. You post those things because you want to protect leagues from owners ruining francises and abandoning them leaving a bad team nobody will take over. My post was about protecting the competitive balance in the XFL league. By selecting a player in the 1st round that isnt a 1st round talent, you create an unfair competitive balance.
