2038 INDUCTEES

LG Damon Gilbert
Kansas City Chaos

17 season

Damon Gilbert was drafted with the 6th pick of the 2nd round in the 2019 draft by Kansas City out of Florida. He would spend the next 17 seasons playing left guard for the Kansas City Chaos. Gilbert was reliable and became a staple on the offensive line but unfortunately the team didn't have enough team success which meant Gilbert only played in 3 postseason games. He did play 238 games on the offensive line which is the most in league history for an offensive lineman and 7th Alltime overall. He made 206 starts which is 5th Alltime and 1st among offensive lineman. His 14,916 plays ranks him 14th Alltime and 2nd for an offensive lineman. Gilbert played at least 10 games in 16 of his 17 seasons despite suffering over 50 injuries in his career including 8 deemed serious. He had 9,180 pass blocks (2nd Alltime) where he allowed 27 sacks (0.29%) and 6,884 run blocks (5th Alltime) where he gave up 408 tackles (5.9%). Gilbert was introduced by fellow Kansas City Hall of Famer WR Cornelius Gill for his speech and he credited Gilbert for his blocking being a major reason he was enshrined in the Hall of Fame. Gilbert is the first LG inducted into the Hall and he was elected on his 3rd ballot.

WLB Donald Kindig
Vancouver (8)

Houston (3)
11 seasons
2025 & 2026 ALLPRO

Donald Kindig was drafted with the 19th pick of the 1st round in the 2024 draft by the Vancouver Vandals out of Louisiana State. He played 8 seasons with Vancouver before signing a 3 year deal with Houston where he finished his career. He played 159 games including 147 starts where he played nearly every snap. His 12,298 plays ranks him 6th Alltime among linebackers. He was able to stay on the field due to his versatility in both stopping the run and playing coverage versus the pass. He had 786 tackles (14th Alltime among LB), 147 knockdowns (12th Alltime among LB), 26 interceptions (13th Alltime) and 11 forced fumbles (26th Alltime among LB). He finished with a 47.9 catch allowed percentage on 729 passes defended (18th Alltime among LB). Kindig is the 1st outside linebacker to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and he did so on his 4th year on the ballot.

FS Antonio Sanchez
Gem City (5)

Tampa Bay (4)
Toronto (3)
Cincinnati (1)
13 seasons
2027 XFL Champion

Sanchez was drafted in the 4th round of the 2021 draft by Tampa Bay out of division III Waynesboro college. Despite being drafted in the 4th and coming from a smaller football program, Sanchez came to personify the FS position. He played his 1st 4 seasons with Tampa Bay before signing with Gem City where he played 5 seasons. He then signed with Toronto for 3 seasons where his career seemed finished. After his contract expired in 2032, he found no suitors in 2033 but would return in 2034 when he signed a 1 year deal with Cincinnati and ended up playing in all 16 games before retiring. Sanchez was known as a ball hawk where he ended up with 53 interception (6th Alltime/1st among FS) and he recorded at least 1 interception in all of his 13 seasons. He also played 13 postseason games where he had 5 interceptions (10th Alltime/1st among FS). Sanchez becomes the 3rd FS to enter the Hall and did it on his 4th ballot.
