2039 INDUCTEESQB Bobby Moreira
Brooklyn Hitmen 14 seasons
2033 NXC Conference Champion
2028 MVP
2028 ALLPRO
He was drafted with the 25th pick of the 1st round in the 2025 draft by Brooklyn out of Michigan. After he was drafted, famed draft expert Mel Diaper had this to say: "It's a shock the Michigan quarterback fell to 25. His intelligence, big arm and exceptional ability to look off defenses should have been enough to entice teams to take a chance on this potential top ten talent. Questions about his lack of mobility and ball security have dropped his draft stock but if he progresses in camp to improve his accuracy and vision, he can be an elite starter in this league. A great pick at this point of the draft." He did progress and did become an elite starter in the league. In 14 seasons with Brooklyn, he led the team to 12 postseason appearances, including 4 NXC Conference Championship games. He won the 2033 NXC Conference Championship before falling to Texas in XFL XVI 35-21. He made 200 starts (11th Alltime) where he passed for 52,641 yards and 357 TDs which ranks him 4th and 3rd respectively at the time of his retirement. In 24 postseason games, he threw for 5,652 yards and 34 TD passes which rank him 2nd and 5th respectively. He was elected on his 1st ballot and becomes the 8th QB elected in the Hall of Fame which equals WR for most by position. He is the 3rd Brooklyn Hitmen elected joining 2033 inductee DT Charles Baker and 2035 inductee TE Adam Johnson.
RB Bruce Hughes
Buffalo (9) Seattle (1)
10 seasons
2030, 2032 & 2035 XFL Champion
2029 & 2034 AXC Conference Champion
Hughes was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2027 draft by Buffalo out of Oklahoma State. He wasn't a prototypical running back, never breaking 1,000 yards in a season but he was a touchdown machine. Three times he led the league in rushing TDs and holds the single season (16) and career (69) rushing TD marks. Twice in his career he had 4 rushing TDs (2nd Alltime) in a game plus he had 3 games with 3 rushing TDs (8th Alltime). He added another 26 TD receptions to finish with 95 Total TDs which ranks him 6th Alltime. His 69 career rushing TDs is 21 more the the next best career and only 4 times has anyone reached 13 rushing TDs in a season and he did it 3 of those 4 times. He played in 16 postseason games where he had his best rushing game of his career when he rushed for 163 yards against Denver (Indiana) in 2030. His 794 yards rushing in the postseason ranks him 9th Alltime and his 6 rushing TDs ranks him 2nd Alltime. The Touchdown Machine was elected on his 2nd ballot and becomes the 7th Buffalo Skull Crushers elected which matches Dakota for the most inductees by a team.
