2046 INDUCTEES

WR Clifford Mays
Vegas BlackAces

2034 ALLPRO
2038 AXC Conference Champion
2039 & 2040 XFL Champion
13 seasons
Vegas (12)
Cincinnati (1)
Buffalo (1)

He was drafted with the 18th pick of the 1st round in the 2033 draft out of Apalachicola State. After being drafted, this was the analysis: "Mays was ranked in the top 5 wide recievers in the draft. He brings elite speed and great pass catching and route running to the table. He has the size to play at RB but concerns over ball security may limit him there." In 14 seasons, Mays fumbled 13 times while rushing for over 3,000 yards which goes to show how much the draft experts really know. Mays could run the ball but he made the HOF based on being a WR where he finished 6th Alltime with 10,708 yards receiving & 4th Alltime with 96 TD receptions. He was a key cog in back to back XFL Titles for Vegas & 3 straight NXC Conference Championships. He was a big game performer who finished in the top 15 in 7 postseason offensive stats including finishing in the top 7 Alltime in 5 postseason stats. In 2034, Mays put together one of the greatest seasons by a WR in XFL history where he had 2,598 yards receiving (4th Alltime) & 30 TD receptions (1st Alltime). In 2035, Mays had one of the greatest postseason games in XFL history where he had 317 yards receiving (2nd Alltime) & 5 TD receptions (1st Alltime) versus Carolina in the Division round. Mays becomes the 17 WR elected to the HOF and the 6th player for Vegas and he does he unanimously on his 1st ballot.

K Robert Combs
Dakota Blizzard

2041 ALLPRO
2031, 2039 & 2042 AXC Conference Champion
2037 & 2038 XFL Champion
14 seasons

He went undrafted when he came out of UCLA before Dakota signed him to a 6 year/25 million dollar contract as an undrafted rookie kicker. What seemed like a complete overpay at the time turned into a sound investment as he helped Dakota to an AXC Conference Championship in his rookie season where he set the Alltime record for XPs that season where he went 98/99 for the 2nd highest score team in league history when they scored 763 points. Combs would finish his career 1st Alltime in points (1,813), postseason fieldgoals (65), postseason XPs (67) & postseason points (262). In total, Combs would finish his career in the top 7 in 8 statistical categories including being in the top 5 in 5 postseason statistical categories. He is just the 4th kicker to be elected into the HOF and he did it unanimously on his 1st year of eligibility. He becomes the 11th player for Dakota enshrined and the 2nd kicker from Dakota to be so honored.

RB Carlton Smith
Dakota Blizzard

2036 & 2037 XFL Champ
2031 & 2039 AXC Conference Champ
2039 & 2040 ALLPRO
11 seasons

He was drafted with the 27th pick of the 1st round in the 2031 draft out of Miami. After being drafted, this was the analysis: "Dakota selects a young speedy back to add to the offense as they try to make one more run for the title with QB Randal Cunningham. Smith's speed will play in the league but he has a wide range of talent he will bring to the table." Smith was a solid player on a good team but he never posted top 10 numbers during the regular season which is why it took him until his 5th year on the ballot to get elected into the HOF. He ultimately made the HOF based on what he did in the postseason. He finished his career in the top 7 in 7 postseason statistical categories including being 2nd Alltime in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,682) & Total yards (2,672). He becomes the 12th player for Dakota enshrined which is the most in the XFL.

SS Lonnie Jones
Tampa Bay Fireballs

2041 AXC Conference Champ
12 seasons
Tampa Bay (9)
Arizona (2)
Buffalo (1)

He was drafted with the 6th pick of the 3rd round in the 2030 draft out of Oklahoma. Jones was never the best player on the field but he was a hard hitting safety who just kept grinding play after play, game after game and season after season. He was a tackling machine who posted who had at least 87 tackles in 8 of his first 10 seasons and he finished his career with 1,007 tackles which ranks him 12th Alltime and 5th best among DBs. He also played in coverage where he defended 745 passes in his career where he had 127 knockdowns, 9 interceptions and a career catch allowed percentage of 50.3%. He becomes just the 3rd player for Tampa Bay enshrined and the 2nd safety for the francise and he did it on his 5th and final year on the ballot.

SLB Andrew Reed
Vegas Black Aces

2034, 2035, 2036, 2038 & 2040 ALLPRO
2038 NXC Champion
2039 & 2040 XFL Champion
12 seasons
Vegas (9)
Vancouver (3)

He was drafted with the 10th pick of the 1st round in the 2032 draft out of Arizona. After being drafted, this was the analysis: "Another outside linebacker in college that scouts believe can play either inside or outside with sideline to sideline speed and great cover skills." From 2034-2040, Reed was selected to 5 ALLPROs including 3 straight (34-36). Considered by many to be the greatest SLB in XFL history, he had to wait till his 3rd year on the ballot before finally getting the call that he had been elected into the HOF. He joins his teammate of 8 seasons Clifford Mays in the class of 2046 as the pair were pivotal leaders on opposite sides of the ball during the 3 year run between 2038-2040 where Vegas won 3 straight NXC Conference Championships and 2 straight XFL Titles. Reed becomes the 7th player for Vegas enshrined into the HOF and just the 2nd true SLB to be elected.
