RDE Christopher Shoults
Los Angeles Challengers14 seasons
Los Angeles (13)
Orlando (1)
2040 ALLPRO
He was drafted with the 7th overall pick of the 2037 draft by Los Angeles out of UMASS. His post draft review said this: "The theme so far has been teams selecting raw talent players going for the homerun as only 2 picks out of 7 have been considered safer picks. Shoults is another raw talent out of a small school who has an amazing combination of size, speed and strength and if he can develop could become an ALLPRO talent. This draft so far is gonna make or break some teams because swinging for the fences can lead to striking out." He did develop and did get selected to an ALLPRO in 2040 as he played 13 seasons for LA and despite never eclipsing 20 sacks in a season, he wound up finishing the ALLTIME sack leader in the XFL with 166 sacks. He accomplished that feat by being consistent as he had double digit sacks in 9 of his first 13 seasons and he never had less then 7 sacks in a season. He was elected into the HOF on his first year on the ballot and he becomes the 11th DE enshrined. He is just the 2nd player for Los Angeles to be awarded a Gold jacket joining CB Steve Davis from the class of 2042.
WR Richard Morillo
Atlanta Dominators11 seasons
Atlanta (9)
Indiana (2)
2047 ALLPRO
2047 MVP
8× XFL Champ (2041-2048)
He was selected with the 6th overall pick of the 2040 draft by Atlanta out of Jackson State. After the draft, the pundits said this: "Morillo was considered the WR with the biggest upside in the draft. While he isn't as polished as WR Hobbs, he does have elite speed and despite his size, he is one of the best 50/50 ball catchers in the draft. Atlanta is in the midst of a rebuild and this playmaker is a solid step towards getting the francise back to the glory years." Boy did Atlanta get back to the glory years and beyond as Morillo was a key cog in their 8 straight XFL Titles. He finished his career in the top 10 of all 3 WR triple crown statistics in both the regular season & postseason. He finished 6th in receptions, 10th in receiving yards and 10th in TD receptions in the regular season while he finished 5th in receptions, 10th in receiving yards and 7th in TD receptions in the postseason. In 2047, he put together one of the best seasons for a WR in XFL history where he had 143 receptions, 3,109 yards receiving (2nd Alltime) & 31 TD receptions (2nd Alltime). He was named MVP in 2047 becoming just the 4th non-QB to win the award. He was elected into the HOF on his 1st year on the ballot. He becomes the 2nd Atlanta Dominator to wear the Gold jacket joining RB Peter Chappell who was elected last year and Atlanta should have several more players from their 8 year dynasty elected in the coming seasons.
