The AI decided I needed "running back" and kept firing useless running backs at me. Every time I dared to have a life, I got another of these dropped in my lap. I can only wish that drafting protocols would change to keep up with the version. It's not like JDB didn't have, like, two years to do this. :/

He took a nasty hit in pass rush, and now he's not useful. Notice that low volatility is no protection anymore. I knew that, but it's still annoying.

4.25 DT Will Hoagland Vol: 44 +7/-4 Now 47/59

Probably only the incumbent was glad to see this.

5.24 RB Edward Godines Vol: 72 +5/+3 Now 37/61

Another AI pick, another useless running back. Kinda sucks that he'll end up on the street, but I just don't have a use for him.

Serves me right for depending on guys like this.

It's a bad sign that the star of training camp is an afterthought. He has worked his way all the way up to...lousy.

SS Grant looks like he should be serviceable in a season or two, nobody else useful from this class. Really got burned by high volatility picks this draft.

I just saw Testament, Exodus, and Death Angel Saturday night so I named my rookies after some of the band members. Looks like they're too tired from touring to care about football. Glad to see Skolnick boom, I needed that. Holt and Billy will stick around while Cavestany was a shot in the dark pick. Lombardo and Hunting are on the roster bubble.

I'll run back and read replies but over in the Private League outpost of NCAA where the bgedgerly's and Michaels dwell word just got to them that drafts are horrific. Last I checked they were kicking around wanting to have trades in a non-trading league but a few shot that idea down.

Upshot: they got startled into 'holy f***' our drafts are bad.
