WEEK 4 STATS

PASSING

Matthew Whitney (BUF) leads the league in passing yards per usual with the Skull Crushers always pass never kick style of offense. The future HOFer has 1,911 yards (1st), 75.1 completion percentage (2nd), 9.14 yds/att (3rd), 18 TD passes (1st) to 6 INTs and a QBR of 119.53 (3rd).

Douglas Brock (TBY) may be having the best season by a QB so far this season where he is 3rd in passing yards (1,406), 2nd in passing TDs (15) with only 2 INTs, 3rd in completion percentage (71.1), 2nd in yds/att (9.25) and a league best QBR of 124.51.

Wilbur Williams (VAN) has been near perfect so far this season with 1,343 yards (5th), 75.9 completion percentage (1st), 9.52 yds/att (1st), 10 TD passes (5th) to only 2 INTs with a QBR of 122.74 (2nd).

Brandon Rodriguez (PNX) has also been near perfect so far this season with 1,510 yards (2nd), 67.5 completion percentage (10th), 9.10 yds/att (4th), 10 TD passes (5th) to just 1 INT and a QBR of 113.78 (5th).

RUSHING

James Kight (OAK) leads the league by a big margin in rushing with 547 yards. He rushed for at 91 yards in all 4 games and eclipsed 100 yards in 3 of the 4 games. He is on pace to surpass 2,000 yards rushing which would shatter the single season record of 1,737 set by Son Johnson (PNX) in 2044.

Jose Hernandez (DAK) is 2nd in the league in rushing with 385 yards. He is 162 yards behind the leader Kight but his yds/rush of 8.4 would be the 2nd highest for anyone who carried the ball at least 100 times. The record is 9.4 yds/rush held by HOF Perry Thacker (BUF) which was set in 2020.

RECEIVING

John Parker (BUF) leads the league with 519 yards receiving, 46 receptions and 6 TD receptions. He is on pace to eclipse 2,000 yards receiving which has happened 27 times in XFL history.

Joe Narvaez (VAN), Harold Moore (BUF), Derek Looney (DAK), Courtney Sutton (ZEZ) & James Fain (MEM) all had two seasons with 2,000 yards receiving.

KICKERS

Alan Brown (NYE) leads the league with 15 fieldgoals on 16 attempts. The record for fieldgoals in a season is 55 of 58 by Daniel Jones (PHI) in 2028 and Brown is on pace for 60.

Gary Price (LAC) leads the league going 6 for 6 on 50+ yard fieldgoals. He is on pace for 24 which would shatter the record of 16 for 18 held by Jarvis Tidwell (SPP) which was set back in 2027.

DEFENSE

Carlos Dawson (ZEZ) leads the league with 55 tackles. He is on pace for 220 tackles which would shatter the single season record of 181 tackles set by Erin Serrano (BUF) in 2045.

George Carroll (NYE) leads the league with 8 sacks and he is on pace for 32 sacks which would break the single season record of 31 sacks set by Dakota teammates in the 2041 season when HOFers Damon Todd & William Strong had 31 sacks each during the most fearsome season for an edge rush duo.

Sidney Hicks (TOR) & Troy Winchell (PNX) both lead the league with 13 knockdowns and are on pave for 52 knockdowns which would break the record of 47 held by Fred Smoot (GCG) in 2032 & Roger Trimmer (HOU) in 2047.

Michael Hudock (MTG) & Jason Robertson (WAS) are tied for the lead with 5 interceptions. They are on pace for 20 interceptions which would obliterate the record of 13 held by Michael English (DAK) in 2028 & Rick Henry (BUF) in 2036.

Just checking in!!!

I know I haven't posted much this season here but I'm busy working behind the scenes (not like JDB) on the team history thread for all 32 teams.

It's a pet project of mine which originates from my excessive compulsive leanings which focuses on what every team did with every 1st round pick.

The most interesting aspect comes when teams trade their 1st rounders for older proven talent and so are REALLY REALLY bad when looked at from 100,000 feet.

With 5 games left, the AXC has 10 of 16 teams within 2 games of a playoff spot plus 3 of the 4 divisions have very close races.

The NXC has 11 of the 16 teams within 2 games of a postseason spot while all 4 divisions have a race by 2 games or less.

Congrats to Tampa Bay/Action Jackson on the 10-0 start before Memphis handed them their first lose of the season in week 11.

The AXC West, NXC East and even the NXC West to a lesser extent have all 4 teams battling for a division Title and/or a Wildcard spot.

Dangalanti returns!!!! To take over the former 8× XFL Champs who made the postseason last year but were finally beaten by Providence after being beaten 5× by the Champs in the postseason from 2043-2047. While fans in Providence were celebrating in the streets after the win signing "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead", Providence turned around and lost to Memphis the following week.

Dangalanti has promised to reignite the entire XFLs hatred of the Atlanta Dominators and while they have won 4 straight, they remain 2 games behind Philadelphia (7-4) for the final postseason spot but Atlanta (5-6) hosts Philadelphia in week 12 where a win by the Dominators would really tighten things up in the NXC playoff picture.

Other key week 12 games include:

Oakland @ Indiana
Cincinnati @ Daytona
Dakota @ Buffalo

Dakota @ Buffalo is one of the oldest rivalries in the XFL between 2 original owners which has been split right down the middle for the last 32 seasons. The two teams are 14-14 versus one another in the regular season and 7-7 in the postseason.

Go ahead and pick the winner because I can never do it and I'm one of em!!!

Thanks for everyone sticking around or recently joining/rejoining and making the XFL one of the only full leagues in MFN.

CJ

WEEK 12 PLAYOFF PICTURE

AXC

THE BYE

Cincinnati (9-3/8-1) currently holds the #1 seed in the AXC thanks to an 8-1 conference record but Vancouver (9-3/7-3) & Dakota (9-3/9-2) have the same record and Vancouver has a win over Cincinnati head to head. New York (8-4/7-3) and Indiana (8-4/5-3) are 1 game behind the 3 of them.

WEST

The defending Champs Vancouver (9-3/3-2) have a 1 game lead over Indiana (8-4/3-2) and the two teams split their season series. Vancouver hosts Oakland (6-6) in week 15 and Indiana travels to Oakland (6-6) in week 14 to wrap up division play.

EAST

New York (8-4/4-2) currently leads Buffalo (7-5/4-0) by 1 game but Buffalo swept the season series so if they wind up tied then Buffalo owns the tiebreaker. New York has 3 games versus teams with winning records while Buffalo plays just 1 team with a winning record.

NORTH

Cincinnati has already clinched the North with 4 games left and they are focused solely on securing the Bye. They have 3 games with teams with losing records remaining before they wrap up the season at home versus Providence (11-1).

SOUTH

Dakota (9-3/4-2) has a 2 game lead over Daytona (7-5/4-1) & Orlando (7-5/2-3) but while Dakota swept Orlando in the season series, Daytona swept Dakota in their season series which could be a huge tiebreaker in the end.

NXC

THE BYE

Tampa Bay (11-1/9-1) currently holds the Bye in the NXC but Providence (11-1/8-1) has the same record but just 1 fewer Conference win. The two teams won't play in the regular season so the final 4 games will determine the winner. Both teams play Phoenix (9-3) which could decide the winner but while Tampa's only other game against a winning team is New York (8-4), Providence has games with Washington (10-2) and Cincinnati (9-3) left. Washington (10-2/7-1) is 1 game behind both teams and can steal the Bye if they beat Providence and Tampa Bay slips up down the stretch. Phoenix (9-3/6-3) is 2 games back of both teams but since they play both opponents they could pull out the Bye themselves by winning out.

EAST

Providence (11-1/4-1) has a 1 game lead over Washington (10-2/2-1) in the East plus they won the first head to head matchup with the Warriors. Washington will need to beat Providence to have a shot at the division crown but their remaining schedule is much easier than Providence's schedule.

WEST

Phoenix (9-3/4-1) holds a 2 game lead over Los Angeles (7-5/2-1) and a 3 game lead over surprising Seattle (6-6/3-2). Phoenix won the first head to head matchup with Los Angeles and they play the rematch in week 13 which is a must win for LA. Phoenix and Seattle have split the season series.

NORTH

Gem City (7-5/4-1) has a commanding 3 game lead over Saint Paul (4-8/3-2) and Montana (4-8/2-2). Gem City has swept Saint Paul and split with Montana. Gem City plays the next 2 games versus teams with winning records so both Montana & Saint Paul need to win out and hope the Gangsters collapse down the stretch.

SOUTH

Tampa Bay (11-1/4-1) holds a 1 game lead over Memphis (10-2/2-1) and the two teams split the season series. Memphis does have an easier schedule down the stretch so it should be a fun race.

I have 6 teams left to do in my TEAM HISTORY thread so it's basically taken the whole season whichbis why I only do it every 5 seasons or so.

We are heading into week 16 and it looks like 13 of the 14 playoff spots are full with just Daytona & Orlando battling it out for the last spot.

Daytona clinches it with a win over New York (10-5) based on division record since the two teams split the season series. Orlando needs to beat Texas (4-11) and hope New York beats Daytona to grab the final open spot.

New York has clinched a wildcard spot but they have a very tiny chance to win the AXC East with a win plus an unlikely Buffalo lose to New England (1-14). How unlikely? Buffalo has won 34 straight against New England and you have to go back to week 2 of the 2033 season where New England won 6-3!

Vancouver clinches the Bye in the AXC with a win over Saint Paul (4-11). Cincinnati needs a win over Providence (13-2) plus a Vancouver lose.

Tampa Bay clinches the Bye in the NXC with a win over Phoenix (12-3) but if they lose they could fall all the way down to the #5 seed if Memphis beats Atlanta (6-9). Providence gets the Bye with a win over Cincinnati plus a Tampa Bay lose.
