NEWS & NOTES (2051 WEEK 6)

MILESTONE TRACKER

PASSING
GAME

QB Matthew Whitney (BUF)

He threw for 788 yards against Saint Paul in week 3 which is the 5th most in league history. Whitney has 9 of the top 10 passing yard games in league history and is a sure fire HOFer. The only thing missing from Whitney's resume is an XFL Title.

QB Steven Parent (TEX)

The rookie had 48 completions versus Oakland in week 6 which ties him for 10th most in league history and sets a rookie record.

QB Richard New (WAS)

He threw 8 interceptions against Philadelphia in week 4 which ties him for 3rd most in a game in league history.

SEASON

QB Matthew Whitney (BUF)

He is currently on pace to throw for 8,541 yards which rank him 2nd Alltime behind his own mark of 9,656 yards set in 2048. Whitney already owns 6 of the 10 best passing yard seasons in league history and he is on pace for a 7th.

He is also on pace for 77 TD passes which would rank 3rd Alltime behind Randal Cunningham (87) and himself (81).

He is also on pace for 962 pass attempts which rank 5th most in XFL history. He already owns the record and has 6 of the top 10.

He is also on pace for 611 completions which would rank 4th Alltime behind himself as he already owns the top 5 spots and 6 of the top 10.

QB Richard New (WAS)

He is on pace to throw 53 interceptions which ranked 2nd Alltime just 3 shy of the Alltime record of 56 held by Michael Carter (DAY) in 2023. After winning the NXC Conference Championship last season then signing for less in free agency to return to Washington, things have seemingly gone off the rails for the career backup who had a dream season last year.

QB Remy Beaucamp (DAK)

He is on pace to throw 35 interceptions which would rank 7th or possibly 8th depending on how Richard New finishes his season. The #1 overall pick in the 2043 draft is on his 3rd team since getting drafted and while scouts & coaches love his arm and skill set, he has been a huge bust since being drafted out of Louisiana State by Cincinnati.

CAREER

QB Matthew Whitney (BUF)

He has moved into 2nd Alltime in league history with 56,443 yards passing and still sits 21,500 yards behind the GOAT & HOFer QB Randal Cunningham (DAK).

He has also moved into 2nd Alltime with 410 TD passes and he is still 291 TD passes shy of reaching HOF QB Randal Cunningham for 1st Alltime.

He has also moved into 9th Alltime with 7,487 pass attempts. He is just 11 pass attempts shy of moving to 8th past QB Gibert Spriggs, 101 shy if moving into 7th past HOF QB Eliseo Towne and 326 shy of passing QB Michael Preston for 6th Alltime.

He has also moved into 9th Alltime with 4,600 completions and needs 90 more to pass QB Steven Stiner for 8th Alltime, 185 more to pass HOF QB Eliseo Towne for 7th Alltime and 311 more to pass QB Michael Preston for 6th Alltime.

He has also moved into 2nd Alltime with 234 career interceptions passing HOF QB Randal Cunningham and he sits just 2 shy of tying QB Steven Stiner for the most interceptions in XFL history.

He remains 2nd Alltime in times sacked with 604 as he edges closer to QB William "Concussion" Powers who retired with 753 times sacks and an unknown number of concussions for the most in league history.

QB Gary Fielding (CIN)

He has moved into 6th Alltime with 51,292 yards passing and is just 1,350 yards shy of moving past HOF QB Bobby Moreira for 5th and 3,249 yards shy of passing HOF QB Joseph Weaver for 4th Alltime.

He slipped from 2nd to 3rd Alltime with 399 TD passes and is 11 TD passes behind Whitney for 2nd while being 302 shy of the Alltime record.

He has moved into 10th Alltime with 206 interceptions and needs 1 more to tied for 9th, 3 more to tie for 8th, 4 more to tie for 7th & 11 more interceptions to move up to 6th Alltime.

RUSHING
GAME

RB Jose Leggett (OAK)

He rushed for 267 yards versus Texas in week 6 which ranks 6th most in league history.

SEASON

WR Dennis Moore (ATL)

He is on pace for 1,837 yards rushing which would set an XFL record besting WR Son Johnson (PNX) and his current record of 1,737 yards rushing.

WR John Hayes (PHI)

He is on pace for 1,810 yards rushing which would also set an XFL record besting WR Son Johnson (PNX) and his current record of 1,737 yards rushing.

RB Jose Leggett (OAK)

He is on pace to finish just outside the top 10 in rushing and if Moore & Hayes continue their current pace he would need to reach the current top 8 to crack the top 10 which is 1,636 yards. Leggett is on pace for 1,629 yards rushing.

He is currently on pace for 16 rushing TDs which would tie him for the 5th most in league history. The Alltime record is 22 rushing TDs followed by 20 at 2nd and 2 players have 18 which is tied for 3rd Alltime in rushing TDs.

WR Julio Hamilton (CIN)

He is on pace to finish just outside the top 10 in rushing and if Moore & Hayes continue their current pace he would need to reach the current top 8 to crack the top 10 which is 1,636 yards. Hamilton is on pace for 1,626 yards rushing.

RB Victor Rainey (NEC)

He is on pace for 13 rushing TDs which would tie him for 7th Alltime in a season while 14 would tie him for 6th Alltime and 16 would tie him for 5th Alltime.

CAREER

WR Leroy Bello (ATL)

He is 3rd Alltime in rushing and 2nd Alltime in rushing TDs but he doesn't have a rush this season for Atlanta as the future HOF has essentially been benched.

WR Son Johnson (PNX)

He is 5th Alltime in rushing and 8th Alltime in rushing TDs but he is a free agent and nobody has sighed him as it looks like it's over for the potential future HOF.

RECEIVING
GAME

WR Richard Hoffman (PRI)

He had 17 receptions in a game versus Brooklyn in week 3 which is tied for 5th Alltime in a game.

SEASON

WR Richard Hoffman (PRI)

He is currently on pace for 144 receptions thus season which would be 3 shy of tying for 10th Alltime in a season.

WR Elijah Diller (BUF)

He is currently on pace for 24 TD receptions which would tie him for 7th Alltime in a season.

CAREER

WR James Fain (DAK)

He has added to his Alltime record for career receptions as he has 1,066 and he is the only receiver to reach the 1,000 reception plateau.

He has also added to his 2nd most career receiving yards mark at 14,822 as he puts some distance from everyone else but he is still 1,904 yards shy of reaching the greatest WR of all time in HOF WR Derek looney.

He has added a couple more TD receptions to his 3rd best mark of 123 TD receptions and he needs 6 more to move into a tie with HOF WR Courtney Sutton.

FB David Morley (BUF)

He has added just 3 receptions to his tally and he remains 3rd Alltime in career receptions with 871 and he is 66 shy of tying HOF TE Pedro Clark for 2nd ALooney.

RB Joseph Moore (BUF)

He remains 6th Alltime in receiving yards with 11,171 yards and he is still 1,351 yards shy of reaching 5th Alltime in career receiving yards.

He ranks 13th with 83 TD receptions and he needs just 1 more to tie for 11th Alltime and 2 more to tie for 10th Alltime in TD receptions.

RETURNS
GAME

RB George Gurley (KCY)

He had 165 punt return yards in a game with Orlando in week 2 which ranks 4th Alltime for punt return yards in a game.

SEASON

RB Gregory Dallas (CAR)

He is currently on pass for 989 KO return yards which would be just 30 yards shy of cracking the top 10 Alltime in a season

RB Ichabob Crane (GCG)

He is currently in on pace for 5 KO return TDs which would set a new XFL record surpassing WR George Wilson (MEM) who finished with 4 KO return TDs.

RB George Gurley (KCY)

He is on pace for 693 punt return yards this season which would set a new Alltime season record surpassing the current record of 647 yards held by John Kendal (OAK) in 2024.

He also has 1 punt return TD and the single season record sits at 2 held by Terrance Jackson (PIT) in 2044 & Gary Rusch (DAY) in 2049.

CAREER

RB Gregory Dallas (CAR)

He has moved up to 6th Alltime in career KO return yards with 4,145 yards. He needs 133 yards to tie for 5th and 146 yards to move into a tie for 4th Alltime in career KO return yards.

He also set a new Alltime record for career KO return TDs with 10 which broke a tie with RB Chris Caldwell (VBA) at 9.

WR Lee Lytton (FA)

The Alltime leader in punt return yards (2,875) and punt return TDs (3) remains a free agent waiting for the phone to ring. Doesn't anyone need a returner?

Phoenix remains the only undefeated team in the NXC but surprisingly Philadelphia leads the conference with a 97 power index followed by Phoenix at 85. Why the 12 point difference??? Philadelphia has an incredible +15 TO margin compared to Phoenix's -13 TO margin which is a 28 point swing.

NEWS & NOTES (2051 WEEK 8)

I've added each teams current playoff seed to the division standings below.

I put the TC tour predictions under each division's current standings for comparison and to point put how stupid the so called experts really are!

AXC

With Toronto losing to New York in week 8 by a final of 13-9, we have no undefeated teams remaining in the conference. Texas is still winless as they look to develop rookie QB Steven Parent. The rookie has shown flashes and currently ranks 8th in the league in passing yards but he has struggled in the red zone with only 5 TD passes.

Surprisingly, the AXC East has the best record in the conference after many down years but the AXC West has the closest to 3 teams making the postseason.

WEST

#4 Vancouver 5-3 (2-0)
#7 Kansas City 5-3 (1-1)
#8 Oakland 4-4 (2-0)
#15 Indiana 1-7 (0-4)

TC PREDICTIONS
Vancouver 11-5 y
Indiana 9-7 x
Oakland 9-7 x
Kansas City 4-12

GRADE
2 outta 4 ain't too bad!

EAST

#1 Buffalo 7-1 (3-0)
#6 New York 6-2 (2-1)
#9 New England 4-4 (1-2)
#13 Miami 2-6 (0-3)

TC PREDICTIONS
Buffalo 14-2 z
New York 9-7 x
Miami 5-11
New England 3-13

GRADE
Under sold New York and insulted New England so 1 outta 4.

NORTH

#2 Toronto 7-1 (2-0)
#5 Cincinnati 6-2 (2-1)
#12 Pittsburgh 2-6 (0-1)
#14 Houston 2-6 (0-2)

TC PREDICTIONS
Cincinnati 13-3 y
Toronto 7-9
Pittsburgh 5-11
Houston 3-13

GRADE
Disrespectful of Toronto while getting 2 outta 4 right

SOUTH

#3 Daytona 6-2 (2-0)
#10 Dakota 4-4 (2-1)
#11 Orlando 3-5 (2-2)
#16 Texas 0-8 (0-3)

TC PREDICTIONS
Dakota 9-7 y
Daytona 8-8
Orlando 6-10
Texas 6-10

GRADE
Sold Daytona short but knew Dakota had issues so 2 outta 4.

NXC

Phoenix is the only remaining undefeated team in the conference & league while Zehlendorf remains winless after being bought by new ownership and a complete rebuild has begun along with talks of relocating the francise.

The East & West have identical records as the best divisions in the NXC & the entire XFL but its the NXC East with 3 teams currently in the postseason with the defending NXC Conference Champs on the outside looking in.]²

EAST

#2 Philadelphia 7-1 (3-0)
#6 Brooklyn 5-3 (3-2)
#7 Providence 5-3 (1-2)
#10 Washington 3-5 (0-3)

TC PREDICTIONS
Philadelphia 11-5 y
Washington 11-5 x
Brooklyn 10-6
Providence 10-6

GRADE
Sold this as a 4 team over .500 type division so I got 3 outta 4 right while Washington clearly has a hangover from appearing in XFL XXXIII.

WEST

#1 Phoenix 8-0 (4-0)
#5 Vegas 6-2 (0-1)
#12 Seattle 3-5 (1-1)
#13 Los Angeles 3-5 (0-3)

TC PREDICTIONS
Phoenix 14-2 y
Los Angeles 10-6 x
Vegas 8-8
Seatle 7-9

GRADE
I over Sold LA while also disrespecting Vegas so it's 1 outta 4 here.

NORTH

#4 Montana 5-3 (4-1)
#9 Gem City 3-5 (3-1)
#14 Saint Paul 3-5 (1-2)
#16 Zehlendorf 0-8 (0-4)

TC PREDICTIONS
Gem City 11-5 y
Montana 10-6
Saint Paul 3-13
Zehlendorf 1-15

GRADE
I was right about 3 of the 4 teams but Gem City has disappointed in the 1st half of the season so I'm saying 3 outta 4 despite not having Montana in 1st.

SOUTH

#3 Memphis 5-3 (1-1)
#8 Atlanta 4-4 (2-0)
#11 Tampa Bay 3-5 (2-0)
#15 Carolina 1-7 (0-4)

TC PREDICTIONS
Memphis 11-5 y
Tampa Bay 11-5 x
Atlanta 8-8
Carolina 5-11

GRADE
2 outta 4 since Atlanta & Tampa are flipped flopped by was fairly close so far.

The bottom line, don't listen to the so called experts because they are wrong most of the time and it's amazing they have a job where they are wrong half the time anyway.

Morons!!!!

NEWS & NOTES (2051 WEEK 9)

The XFL supports the SFL which is clearly the future of the sport!!!

AXC

WEST

#4 Vancouver 6-3 (2-0) 5-1
#8 Kansas City 5-4 (1-1) 3-3
#10 Oakland 4-5 (2-0) 4-3
#15 Indiana 1-8 (0-4) 1-6

VANCOUVER
The 2049 XFL Champs currently sit in first place in the West and hold a 1 game lead over Kansas City and 2 game lead over Oakland. While Vancouver is 2-0 in division, both wins came versus Indiana so the 2nd half will be very interesting as 4 of Vancouver's last 7 games are versus Kansas City & Oakland plus they have a game with defending XFL Champion Cincinnati in week 15.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 17th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 9th
TURNOVER MARGIN: +4

OFFENSIVE MVP: WR Christopher Bates
He is 8th in rushing with 566 yards rushing and 1st with 8 rushing TDs.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB George Brown
He is 2nd on the team with 37 tackles with leading the team with 17 knockdowns & 3 interceptions

KANSAS CITY
They are currently 1 game behind Vancouver in the West and the 8th seed in the AXC despite having the same record as #7 Dakota thanks to their head to head lose to the Blizzard. They have 2 games with Vancouver remaining plus games with Oakland and Indiana.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 22nd
TOTAL DEFENSE: 13th
TURNOVER MARGIN: -6

OFFENSIVE MVP: RB Justin Hall
He is 10th in the league with 561 yards rushing plus he is 2nd on the team with 264 yards receiving.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB David Chamberlain
He is tied for 7th in the league with 70 tackles while also having 2 knockdowns and 2 interceptions.

OAKLAND
They are currently 2 games behind Vancouver and 1 game behind Kansas City in the West and they are the 10th seed in the AXC. They play 2 games with Vancouver plus 1 game versus Kansas City & Indiana down the stretch. They also have games with Daytona (7-2) & Phoenix (9-0) in weeks 12 & 15.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 16th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 10th
TURNOVER MARGIN: +1

OFFENSIVE MVP: RB Jose Leggett
He is 2nd in the league with 917 yards rushing, 41 yards behind WR Julio Hamilton for the lead. He is also 3rd in the league with 6 rushing TDs

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Jerry Cook
He leads the team with 56 tackles & 2 interceptions while he is 3rd on the team with 10 knockdowns.

INDIANA
After winning in week 1, they have lost 8 straight games despite holding 5 of those 8 opponents to 20 points or less. They have struggled offensively all season having scored just 57 points all season which is roughly 6 points per game. They play Texas (0-9) in week 11 which will be a battle for a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft. The good news is Indiana has three 1st rounders in the upcoming draft including a top 4 pick based on their current record.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 30th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 15th
TURNOVER MARGIN: -9

OFFENSIVE MVP: WR Danny Melillo
He is 7th in the league with 673 yards rushing.

DEFENSIVE MVP: WLB Ivan Cook
He is 4th in the league with 72 tackles plus he has 1 sack, 2 hurries, 1 forced fumbles and 7 knockdowns.

EAST

#1 Buffalo 8-1 (3-0) 5-1
#5 New York 7-2 (2-1) 6-2
#9 New England 4-5 (1-2) 4-2
#14 Miami 2-7 (0-3) 1-6

BUFFALO
They have a 1 game lead over New York in East and currently own the #1 seed in the AXC. They are 3-0 in division with a win versus all 3 division opponents so they have 3 division games remaining versus all 3 teams plus games with Cincinnati (7-2) & Toronto (7-2) in week 10 & 11.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 1st
TOTAL DEFENSE: 4th
TURNOVER MARGIN: -2

OFFENSIVE MVP: QB Matthew Whitney
He leads the league with 3,999 yards passing & 33 TD passes.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Charles Elsass
He leads the league with 33 knockdowns while adding 45 tackles and 1 interception.

NEW YORK
They are trailing Buffalo by 1 game in the East and currently hold the 5th seed as the top Wildcard. They are 2-1 in division and they lost their first matchup with Buffalo and they will need to beat Buffalo in week 15 if they have any chance to win the division. They are 2-2 versus winning teams this season and have just 2 more games versus winning teams remaining (Buffalo/Montana).

TOTAL OFFENSE: 19th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 11th
TURNOVER MARGIN: +6

OFFENSIVE MVP: RB Fransico Leedom
He leads the team with 403 yards rushing plus is 4th on the team with 126 yards receiving.

DEFENSIVE MVP: LDE Joshua Johnson
He is tied for 6th in the league with 10 sacks plus he is 9th in the league with 10 hurries plus he has 20 tackles & 1 forced fumble.

NEW ENGLAND
New England has surprised this season and despite be 4 games behind Buffalo in the East, they currently sit as the 9th seed in the AXC, just 1 game off the pace of the #7 seed Dakota. Unfortunately, their schedule is brutal down the stretch as they play Kansas City (5-4) in week 11, Buffalo (8-1) in week 12, Cincinnati (7-2) in week 13, New York (7-2) in week 14 & Toronto (7-2) in week 16.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 25th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 23rd
TURNOVER MARGIN: -7

OFFENSIVE MVP: RB Victor Rainey
He leads the team with 497 yards rushing (15th) and 6 rushing TDs (3rd) while adding 154 yards receiving.

DEFENSIVE MVP: FS Anthony Turner
He leads the team with 63 tackles (14th) while adding 8 knockdowns.

MIAMI
Miami is starting a rookie QB and he is definitely the future of this francise that is right in the middle of a complete rebuild. This will make 18 straight seasons where Miami misses the postseason but it feels very different from recent seasons due to the drafting of QB Kevin Trout with the 2nd overall pick. Trout has struggled in his rookie season but it's just a matter of time as he has all the ability in the world and once he locks into his potential, Miami will lift off.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 32nd
TOTAL DEFENSE: 30th
TURNOVER MARGIN: +5

OFFENSIVE MVP: WR William Salmons
He leads the team with 440 yards rushing while adding 109 yards receiving.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Harry Jones
He is 2nd in the league with 77 tackles, just 5 shy of SS Frank Nunez (TEX) and his 82 tackles. Jones has added 1 sack, 1 hurry, 3 forced fumbles, 5 knockdowns and 1 interception.

NORTH

#2 Cincinnati 7-2 (3-1) 5-1
#6 Toronto 7-2 (2-1) 4-2
#12 Houston 3-6 (1-2) 2-6
#13 Pittsburgh 2-7 (0-2) 0-4

CINCINNATI
They took 1st place in the North after beating Toronto in week 9 to earn the split in the season seasons. They hold the tiebreaker based on a 3-1 division record compared to Toronto's 2-1 division record. Cincinnati only plays 2 more games versus winning teams when they play Buffalo (8-1) in week 10 & Vancouver (6-3) in week 15.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 3rd
TOTAL DEFENSE: 7th
TURNOVER MARGIN: 0

OFFENSIVE MVP: WR Julio Hamilton
The XFL XXXIII MVP leads the league with 958 yards rushing while being 5th in the league with 5 rushing TDs. He also leads his team and is 8th in the league with 690 yards receiving plus he has 4 TD receptions. That makes his 2nd in the league with 1,648 TOTAL yards, just 38 yards shy of WR Jose Hernandez (DAK). His 9 Total TDs ties him for 3rd in the league.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Joseph Duffy
He is tied for 8th in the league with 4 interceptions plus he has 44 tackles and 19 knockdowns.

TORONTO
They started the season with 7 straight wins before losing their last 2 games by a combined 6 points which cost then 1st place in the North on a division record tiebreaker. They play Pittsburgh in week 10 and a win will match Cincinnati's division record plus Cincinnati is playing Buffalo (8-1) in week 10. Of course Toronto plays Buffalo in week 11 but the good news for Toronto is that's the last opponent remaining with a winning record.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 11th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 5th
TURNOVER MARGIN: +8

OFFENSIVE MVP: WR Robert Knight
He is 5th in the league with 817 yards receiving and 9th in the league with 5 TD receptions.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB John Teixeira
He leads the team with 17 knockdowns and 5 interception (3rd) while he is 2nd on the team with 44 tackles and he has 1 forced fumble.

HOUSTON
They are in the 2nd season of a rebuild and they have already won more games this season then last season where they finished 2-14. They started the season 0-5 and they have won 3 of thier last 4 games. They have 4 of their final 7 games versus winning teams where they play Memphis (6-3) in week 10, Toronto in week 12, Buffalo (8-1) in week 14 and Cincinnati (7-2) in week 16 so a final 6-10 or 7-9 record would be a giant step in the right direction.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 27th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 28th
TURNOVER MARGIN: +11

OFFENSIVE MVP: QB Alfred Duquette
The reason turnaround for Houston coincides with Duquette being named starter in week 4. The team has gone 3-3 with him as starter as he has thrown for 1,135 yards, 6 TDs and just 1 INT.

DEFENSIVE MVP: LDE Alan Edwards
He is 4th in the league with 11 sacks and 9th in the league with 10 hurries while adding 27 tackles.

PITTSBURGH
They were just bought by a new owner and he is in the process of evaluating his roster after the team has missed the postseason in 4 of the last 5 seasons after winning the AXC Conference Championship in 2043 & 2045. They have 4 of their final 7 games versus winning teams including Toronto (7-2) in week 10, Cincinnati (7-2) in week 11, Toronto (7-2) again in week 13 & New York in week 16.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 21st
TOTAL DEFENSE: 21st
TURNOVER MARGIN: 0

OFFENSIVE MVP: QB John Turner
He isn't leading the league in any statistics but he has throw for 1,953 yards, 12 TD passes and just 6 INTs which is important for a team looking to rebuild going forward. Turner is in his 8th season so they have the francise QB on the roster.

DAKOTA
With their HOF QB Robert Alvarez retiring in 2050 and QB Anthony Strain leaving in free agency, Dakota signed former #1 overall pick QB Remy Beaucamp to a mega contract in hopes they could fix him. The team, like Beaucamp has played sporadically this season as they have gone 5-4 and they sit 2 games behind Daytona this season. 4 of their final 7 games are against winning teams and Dakota is 1-4 versus winning teams this season. They are currently the #7 seed but unless they can beat winning teams they are facing 8-8 and missing the postseason in the face.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Daniel Doyle
He leads the team and is tied for 3rd in the league with 5 interceptions plus he has 44 tackles and 4 knockdowns.

TEXAS
This will be 9 straight seasons without making the postseason but Texas is under new ownership and they drafted what they hope will be the francise QB for the next 15 seasons in QB Steven Parent. They are winless this season but this season isn't about wins and loses, it's about developing their rookie QB.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 23rd

NXC

EAST

#2 Philadelphia 8-1 (3-0) 7-0
#6 Providence 6-3 (1-2) 5-3
#8 Brooklyn 5-4 (3-2) 4-4
#11 Washington 3-6 (0-3) 2-4

PHILADELPHIA
They own a 2 game lead over Providence and 3 game lead over Brooklyn in the NXC East. Philadelphia is a perennial playoff team having made the postseason the last 13 seasons but they haven't won the Division Title since 2043. They have swept Brooklyn and own a win over Washington but they have 2 games left versus Providence remaining which will decide if Philadelphia can snap a 7 season drought in division Titles. 5 of their final 7 games are against winning teams including both Providence games in weeks 11 & 13 plus games versus Atlanta (5-4) in week 10, Memphis (6-3) in week 12 & Dakota (5-4) in week 16.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 4th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 7th
TURNOVER MARGIN: +27

OFFENSIVE MVP: QB Darren Hensley
While he doesn't have a ton of passing yards (1,638), his 21 TD passes is 4th in the league and he has an amazing 0 INTs. His TD/INT ratio is easily the best in the league and his 120.98 QBR also leads the league.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Leroy Turner
He is 2nd in the league with 6 interceptions, 10th in the league with 17 knockdowns and he leads the team with 54 tackles.

They have been swept by Brooklyn but they still have 2 games left versus 1st place Philadelphia which will be a huge factor in which team wins the division. 5 of their last 7 games are versus winning teams including Dakota (5-4) in week 10, Philadelphia (8-1) in weeks 11 & 13, Phoenix (9-0) in week 12 & Daytona (7-2) in week 15.

BROOKLYN
They find themselves in 3rd place and 3 games back in the NXC East while currently holding the #8 seed just out of the playoffs despite sharing the same record as #7 Atlanta but they lost to them head to head. It's been an up & down season for the Hitmen as they swept Providence but have been swept by Philadelphia plus they own 1 win over Washington. They only play 3 winning teams in their final 7 games including Daytona (7-2) in week 11, Memphis (6-3) in week 13 & Dakota (5-4) in week 14.

The rookie leads the team with 464 yards receiving and has 2 TD receptions.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Cyrus Baltimore
He is 3rd in the league with 76 tackles while adding 1 sack and 9 knockdowns.

WASHINGTON
The defending NXC Conference Champs have been clearly struck with an XFL Championship game hangover. They lost 3 of their first 4 games and they haven't won back to back games all season. They still have 5 games remaining versus winning teams and they have reached the point where they need to win out for any shot at making the postseason.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 12th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 22nd
TURNOVER MARGIN: -15

OFFENSIVE MVP: WR Robert Robertson
He leads the team with 601 yards receiving and he has 1 TD reception.

WEST

#1 Phoenix 9-0 (4-0) 6-0
#5 Vegas 7-2 (1-1) 5-1
#10 Seattle 4-5 (1-1) 2-3
#12 Los Angeles 3-6 (0-4) 3-6

PHOENIX
They own a 2 game lead over Vegas in the NXC West as they have won their first 9 games to match their best start since 2042 where they won their first 14 games and finished 15-1. They own the #1 seed in the NXC and look guaranteed to make the postseason for the 12th straight season. They play just 3 winning teams in their final 7 games including Vegas (7-2) in week 10 where a win all but clinches the division. Trips to Providence (6-3) & Montana (5-4) in weeks 12 & 13 may be the only hurdles to a perfect season if they beat Vegas this week.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 2nd
TOTAL DEFENSE: 1st
TURNOVER MARGIN: -11

OFFENSIVE MVP: QB Brandon Rodriquez
He is 2nd in the league with 2,870 yards passing, 27 TD passes and his 105.06 QBR is 3rd in the league. He has thrown 15 INTs which is tied for 3rd most

VEGAS
They have had their best start to a season since 2036 where they started 9-2. They are 2 games behind undefeated Phoenix and they lost the first matchup with the Predators. They play Phoenix in week 10 where they need to win for any chance to win the NXC East. They currently hold the #5 seed in the NXC as the top Wildcard and after their week 10 rematch with Phoenix, they have 6 games remaining versus teams with current losing records. Vegas is poised to snap a 4 year playoff drought and they have missed the postseason in 6 of the last 7 seasons following 11 straight postseason appearances from 2033-2043.

SEATTLE
While Seattle is 5 games back in the NXC East, they are currently the 10th seed in the NXC and trail the #7 Seed Atlanta by just 1 game but they lost to Atlanta head to head and lose that tiebreaker. It's been 19 straight seasons missing the postseason and 12 straight seasons where they haven't won more then 6 games. They play 4 games versus teams with winning records in their final 7 games including 2 games with Vegas (7-2) in weeks 13 & 15 plus they play Montana (5-4) in week 10 & Phoenix (9-0) in week 11.

LOS ANGELES
After finishing 9-7 last season, LA felt like they were ready to take that next step this season and make the postseason with double digit wins but they have been streaky starting the season with 3 straight loses before winning 3 straight to even their record then losing another 3 straight to fall to 3-6. They play 3 winning teams in their final 7 games including Vegas (7-2) in week 11, Vancouver (6-3) in week 12 & Kansas City (5-4) in week 15.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 24th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 17th

#9 Gem City 4-5 (3-1) 3-5
#14 Saint Paul 3-6 (1-2) 2-5
#16 Zehlendorf 0-9 (0-4) 0-6

MONTANA
They won the NXC North in 2045 then missed the postseason the next 2 seasons. The won the Division in 2048 then missed the postseason the next 2 seasons so if the pattern continues then Montana wins the division this year. They hold a 1 game lead over Gem City and a 2 game lead over Saint Paul. 3 of their final 7 games are against teams with winning records including New York (7-2) in week 12, Phoenix (9-0) in week 13 & Memphis (6-3) in week 14.

Gem City is 1 game behind Montana in the NXC North and they currently sit as the 9th seed in the Conference, 1 game behind #7 Atlanta. They have made the postseason the last 5 seasons and 13 of the last 14 seasons and they only play 2 of their final 7 games versus teams with winning records including New York (7-2) in week 13 & Phoenix (9-0) in week 16.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 13th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 25th
TURNOVER MARGIN: -2

OFFENSIVE MVP: RB Ichabob Crane
He is 6th in the league with 789 yards rushing plus 4th on the team with 219 yards receiving. He is 3rd in the league with 1,424 Total yards.

DEFENSIVE MVP: WLB Kyle Gast
He leads the team with 47 tackles plus he has 1 sack, 1 hurry, 3 knockdowns & 2 interceptions.

SAINT PAUL
This once proud francise that made the postseason in 8 straight seasons from 2030-2038 and won 3 consecutive NXC Conference Championships from 2035-2037 has missed the postseason the last 13 seasons. The good news is they were bought by a new owner who took over a francise in salary cap purgatory. They started the season 3-2 but a lack of depth and a defense torn apart by salary cap cuts has led to 4 straight loses. Still they are only 2 games back of the last Wildcard spot and only play 3 games versus winning teams in their final 7 games starting with New York (7-2) in week 10.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 14th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 32nd
TURNOVER MARGIN: -3

OFFENSIVE MVP: WR Michael Johnston
He leads the team with 637 yards receiving (12th) and he is 9th in the league with 5 TD receptions.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Lewis Sullivan
He is 2nd on the team with 47 tackles, leads the team with 16 knockdowns and is 2nd on the team with 2 interceptions.

ZEHLENDORF
They are another once proud francise who dominated the league from 2030-2034 where they won 4 NXC Conference Championships & 2 XFL Titles before missing the postseason the last 14 seasons. They too were bought by a new owner who quickly traded some veterans for future draft picks as he plans to completely rebuild the francise. They have lost their first 8 games before winning their first game in week 9 and are battling for a top 5 pick in next year's draft.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 28th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 31st
TURNOVER MARGIN: -9

OFFENSIVE MVP: RB Brian Schulze
He leads the team with 316 yards rushing

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Stevie McLaughlin
He leads the team with 60 tackles plus he has 1 hurry, 1 forced fumble, 6 knockdowns and 1 interception.

SOUTH

#3 Memphis 6-3 (2-1) 5-1
#7 Atlanta 5-4 (2-0) 4-2
#13 Tampa Bay 3-6 (2-1) 2-5
#15 Carolina 1-8 (0-4) 0-7

MEMPHIS
They lead the NXC South by 2 game over Atlanta but they lost the first of 2 games with the Dominators with the rematch coming in week 11. They play 4 winning teams in their final 7 games including Atlanta (5-4), Philadelphia (8-1), Brooklyn (5-4) & Montana (5-4) the next 4 weeks.

He is 2nd in the league with 889 yards & 7 TD receptions.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Kevin Eastham
He has 38 tackles, 14 knockdowns and 2 interceptions.

ATLANTA
They currently sit 1 game behind Memphis in the South plus they have a win over Memphis in hand with the rematch coming in week 11. They also sit as the #7 seed which is their safety net in case they don't win the division. They only play 2 winning teams in their final 7 games the next 2 weeks when they play Philadelphia (8-1) & Memphis (6-3).

TOTAL OFFENSE: 9th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 12th
TURNOVER MARGIN: -2

OFFENSIVE MVP: WR Dennis Moore
He is 5th in the league with 843 yards rushing and 2nd on the team with 382 yards receiving.

DEFENSIVE MVP: CB Dale Wilson
He is 3rd on the team with 48 tackles, 2nd on the team with 16 knockdowns and leads the team with 4 interceptions.

TAMPA BAY
After finishing 14-2 last season and clinching the #1 seed in the NXC, there were high expectations I'm Tampa Bay but after starting the season 2-1, they have lost 5 of their last 6 games and in real danger of missing the postseason? 5 of their final 7 games are against teams with winning records and they might need to run the board to make the postseason.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 26th
TOTAL DEFENSE: 26th
TURNOVER MARGIN: -6

OFFENSIVE MVP: WR Timothy Perry
He leads the team with 359 yards rushing and he is 5th on the team with 174 yards receiving.

CAROLINA
After starting the season with a shutout win at Pittsburgh in week 1, they have lost 8 straight games where they combined to score just 66 points which averages to 8.25 points/game. They are in line to get a top 4 pick and have a shot at the #1 overall pick in next year's draft.

TOTAL OFFENSE: 31st
TOTAL DEFENSE: 29th
TURNOVER MARGIN: +9

OFFENSIVE MVP: RB Raymond Lecompte
He leads the team with 511 yards rushing & 390 yards receiving but he has zero TDs for a team with 3 offensive TDs.

DEFENSIVE MVP: MLB Wilford Candelaria
He leads the team with 66 tackles and is 3rd in the league with 5 interceptions while adding 1 sack & 6 knockdowns.

There will be no Week 10 news & notes for several reasons but I have been working on additional stats I'm adding to each team history to include the following:

FRANCISE RECORDS

TEAM
WINS: 13 (2030)
POINTS SCORED: 380 (2032)
POINTS ALLOWED: 144 (2029)
POINTS SCORED (FEWEST): 122 (2034)
POINTS ALLOWED (MOST): 407 (2034)
TURNOVER MARGIN: +14 (2019/2045)
TURNOVER MARGIN (WORST): -10 (2048)
PASS OFFENSE: 304.5 (2018)
PASS OFFENSE (FEWEST): 88.0 (2038)
RUSH OFFENSE: 159.5 (2049)
RUSH OFFENSE (FEWEST): 17.0 (2035)
TOTAL OFFENSE: 354.0 (2018)
TOTAL OFFENSE (FEWEST): 186.4 (2035)
PASS DEFENSE: 132.6 (2038)
PASS DEFENSE (MOST): 307.3 (2021)
RUSH DEFENSE: 44.8 (2047)
RUSH DEFENSE (MOST): 166.9 (2038)
TOTAL DEFENSE: 224.1 (2029)
TOTAL DEFENSE (MOST): 420.2 (2021)
WINNING STREAK: 13 (2030)
LOSING STREAK: 16 (2021-2022)

The other reasons for a lack of news & notes can be blamed on my OCD and the video game:

It was a father's day gift and I'm addicted!!!

Sorry but not sorry,

CJ

That's an awesome fun game.
