NEWS & NOTES (2054 WEEK 14)
XFLOnly 2 games remaining so let's take a look and each team's schedule, overall record, division record and conference record to figure out who's likely in or out!
AXCThis Conference has 9 teams with a shot at the postseason and 5 teams that have already punched their ticket to the dance (New England/Buffalo/Daytona/Dakota/Cincinnati) including 2 teams that clinched their division (Daytona/Cincinnati). That leaves 4 teams battling for the final Wildcard spot (Indiana/Oakland/New York/Toronto) while 2 teams are battling for the AXC West division crown (Indiana/Oakland). We also have 2 teams (New England/Buffalo) fighting for the AXC East Division crown but both teams have already clinched the postseason. The Bye in the AXC will come down to the week 16 matchup where Cincinnati host Daytona where the winner gets the Bye as long as Daytona handles business and beats Kansas City (5-9) in week 15.

#4 INDIANAMTG (8-4-1)
@RAN (1-12)
Indiana controls their own destiny and win the AXC West for the 3rd straight season if they win out at 9-7. If they lose a game, they would need Oakland to lose a game versus 2 teams with losing records to win the division. 8-8 probably won't land them a Wildcard either unless both New York & Toronto lose a game and the Toronto lose has to be to Dakota in week 15. They would create a 3-way tie at 8-8 where New York is eliminated because of a 5-7 Conference record so Toronto & Indiana would have a net points tiebreaker since they didn't play head to head and both would have a 6-6 Conference record. Indiana currently has a +58 net points while Toronto currently has a -18 net points.
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
#9 OAKLANDVAN (4-8-1)
SPP (3-10)
They need to win out against 2 teams with losing records plus have Indiana lose a game in order to win the AXC West for the first time in 15 years. Indiana does play Montana (8-5-1) in week 15 so it's not out of the realm of possibility. If both Indiana and Oakland win out then Oakland needs both New York & Toronto to lose 1 game to clinch the final Wildcard spot. If Oakland splits their last 2 games, they would need Indiana to lose out or have New York & Toronto lose out to make the postseason.

#3 NEW ENGLANDBUF (9-5)
ORG (2-12)
They just need to win 1 of their last 2 games to clinch the AXC East for the first time in francise history! They play perennial contender Buffalo (9-5) in week 15 who beat New England 40-10 in week 12 but they close the season versus Orlando (2-12) at home which is a very winnable game. If they lose out and Buffalo wins out, they have already clinched just their 4th postseason appearance in 37 seasons.
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
#6 BUFFALO@NEC (11-3)
HOU (1-13)
Buffalo has clinched the postseason for the 35th time in 37 seasons which ranks 2nd most Alltime. They need to win out and have New England lose out with them playing each other in week 15 to clinch the AXC East for a record 31st time in XFL history. They currently hold the 6th seed and by winning out they would need Dakota to lose out to create a tie. Both teams would have the same conference record and same overall record with no head to head tiebreaker so it would goto net points. Buffalo currently sits at +70 while Dakota sits at +270 so Buffalo is most likely the 6th seed.
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
#8 NEW YORK@MEM (8-5-1)
ATL (11-3)
They can't win the division so they need to win out and have Toronto lose 1 game to clinch the final Wildcard spot. New York lost to Toronto in week 2 so they need to finish with a better record then the Titans. Therefore, if New York split their final 2 games, they would need Toronto to lose out to make the postseason.

#1 CINCINNATIMIA (5-9)
DAY (13-1)
They have clinched the AXC North for the 8th straight year and currently hold the #1 seed and subsequent Bye. They win out and nothing changes for the Defenders but they play Daytona (13-1) in week 16 which could become a winner takes all game if Daytona beats KC (5-9) in week 15.
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
#7 TORONTO@DAK (11-3)
@PHI (7-7)
They can't win the division but they still control their own destiny so if they win out, they clinch the #7 seed in the AXC. If they split their last 2 games, they would need New York to also split their last 2 games to clinch. They can still make the postseason if they lose their last 2 games but then they would need New York to lose out plus have either Indiana or Oakland also lose out.

#2 DAYTONA@KCY (5-9)
@CIN (14-0)
They have clinched the AXC South and currently hold the #2 seed in the Conference. They do control their own destiny and if they win out they clinch the #1 seed and Bye in the AXC. The season culminates with Daytona traveling to Cincinnati in week 16 which becomes a winner takes the Bye scenario as long as Daytona beats KC (5-9) in week 15. Let's F@$%ing Go!!!!
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
#5 DAKOTATOR (7-7)
LAC (5-9)
Dakota has clinched the postseason for the 36th time in 37 seasons which is an XFL Alltime record. They are locked into the 5th seed regardless of the outcome of the last 2 games barring back to back 60-0 loses coupled with Buffalo winning out with 60-0 wins. Never say never but never gonna happen!

NXCThis Conference has 9 teams battling for the 7 playoff spots and 5 teams (Brooklyn/Providence/Seattle/Gem City/Atlanta) have aleady clinched a spot including 3 division winners (Seattle/Gem City/Atlanta). That leaves 4 teams vying for the final 2 Wildcard spot (Philadelphia/Phoenix/Montana/Memphis). Brooklyn & Providence are still fighting to win the NXC East although both have clinched a spot in the postseason. The Bye in the NXC will also be decided in week 16 when Gem City travels to Seattle for a winner takes all game if Gem City handles business and beats Randolph (2-12) in week 15.

#4 BROOKLYNCAR (1-13)
@TBY (5-9)
Brooklyn and Providence are tied atop the NXC East and both have clinched a playoff spot but Brooklyn holds the inside track thanks to a season series sweep of the Islanders. If Brooklyn wins out they win the NXC East for the second time in three years. If they split the final 2 games then they need Providence to do the same and if they lose out then Providence must also lose out but the worse Brooklyn can be is the #5 seed.
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
#5 PROVIDENCE@TBY (5-9)
@WAS (3-11)
Providence has the same record as Brooklyn but they were swept by Brooklyn this season so they must win out and have Brooklyn lose a game to clinch the NXC East for the 8th time in the last 10 years. The worst Providence can do is the 5th seed so splitting the last 2 games means Brooklyn must lose out and losing both games means they can't win the division.
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
#8 PHILADELPHIAATL (11-3)
TOR (7-7)
They currently sit on the outside looking into the postseason and they can't win their division. They need to win out and hope either Montana or Memphis lose out plus Phoenix loses a game. If they lose a game, they are eliminated so they simply need to win out and then they pray for help!

#1 SEATTLELAC (5-9)
GCG (12-2)
Seattle has clinched the NXC West for just the 5th time in francise history and first since 2031 as they broke a 22 year playoff drought. They currently hold the Bye in the NXC but they host Gem City (12-2) in week 16 which will be a winner gets the Bye as long as Gem City beats Randolph (2-12) in week 15. For the first time in XFL history we could have 2 teams in each Conference meeting for a winner gets the Bye game. Let's F@$&ing Go!!!!!

#9 PHOENIXVBA (5-9)
TEX (3-11)
They are currently on the outside looking into the postseason and can't win their division so they need to win out and have either Memphis or Montana lose out plus have Philadelphia lose 1 game to clinch the 7th seed in the NXC. Any lose will eliminate them immediately.

@SEA (13-1)
They have clinched the NXC North for the 13th time in the last 17 years. They currently hold the #2 seed in the NXC but if they win out they clinch the #1 seed and the Bye in the NXC. If they beat Randolph (2-12) in week 15 then they will travel to Seattle (13-1) in week 16 for a winner gets the Bye game. The worst Gem City can finsih is the 4th seed if they split their final 2 games and both Atlanta and Brooklyn win out they drop to the 4th seed.

They have clinched the NXC South for the 12th time in the last 15 years. They currently hold the #3 seed and if they win out plus Gem City loses 1 game and Brooklyn wins the NXC East they move up to the #2 seed. If they win out, Gem City loses 1 game and Providence wins the NXC East they remain the #3 seed. If they split their last 2 games and Gem City wins out plus either Brooklyn or Providence wins out they fall to the #4 seed.
