Mid-way through the game but before I do the Good Game thang....how does my runner get caught here?

I mean, I know how in terms of runner with the ball has been made to slow up especially when catching the ball and then running but there was a 88 to 79 speed advantage here. My guess is a slight more speed separation would have led to the End Zone Dance.
