Lets see, being a realist I wonder what happens if Crazy Razor and I finish at 15-1. Who gets the bye?

Does anyone know who secures the 2nd bye? Crazy Razor or myself?

I'll assume a 15-1 finish. I've got a line in the sand player whom would be foolish for me to play and blow up my entire playoffs. Better to go for the 4-0 situation than to end a player I can't win without.

Even IF I beat you in week 16 there is no guarantee that I get a bye.

To determine home-field priority among division-titlists, apply Wild Card tie-breakers.

Three or More Clubs

(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.)

Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants.Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.Strength of victory.Strength of schedule.Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.Best net points in conference games.Best net points in all games.Best net touchdowns in all games.Coin toss

I would assume it goes to points

GG Oakland. I have always had a good team but never have been allowed to field it because of injuries. At this point, if I limp into the playoffs and then start beating people it will be a giant controversy. I don't really belong there, yadda yadda yadda. Very frustrating, but I've been on the short end of the stick too.

Yikes! That is a mumble jumble and I know ya'll have yet to pin down JDB on all the parameters.

What's fair is fair. If you beat me in Week #16 that should lock you into 1 of the 2 bye positions.

STS: That's not true. No controversy. You've worked hard all season from Preseason Game #1 - 3; all the way up to Regular Season Game #16. You earn whatever you get and win.

The BS is when someone slips in/picks up a team in Game #16 or Wild Card Week and then beats someone who (see above statement to you) :)

Looking at it again...even if I beat you and Oakland wins....I'm the 3 seed because if it's common opponents then I lose based on losing to Pittsburgh in week 1 and both Buffalo and Oakland beat Pittsburgh.
