Thanks everyone,

Winning a Title in MFN isn't easy!!!

It's what makes this game great and keeps me playing and engaged for over 4 years....that's real time!!!

I'm 53 years old and started playing video games as early as I have memories. From Quarter arcades to pong, Bally, Atari 2600, Intellivision, Colicovision, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, GameCube, Sega, Playstation and Xbox.

From my first computer...a Texas Instruments TI99/A to Amiga then Commodore 64 into my 1st PC.....

Video games and simulations have been an active part of my life but I also played non-electronic sport simulation games like Statis-Pro Baseball, Football and Basketball to Pennant Chase and many more....

My point is this....for all its faults....MFN has kept my interest for over 4 years and not many games/Sims can make that claim....I'm down on 4.6 but I'm gonna keep at it and try to do the best I can with it.

I truly hope everyone returns for season 21 of the XFL because this league will exist as long as enough owners stay. The off-season is upon us and this is the most active time of the season for me personally....I have to update every thread to add another season of stats and data....and that's what it all about for me.....the stats, data and history of the league broken down so everyone can enjoy.

Thanks for the Congratulations everyone....Wolveraider deserves much respect because 3 straight Title games is no easy feat and coming back from 22-0 down is nothing to laugh at....I honestly don't believe I won after that historic collapse.

CJ

Nostalgia.

The Commodore 64 was my first. Strat-o-Matic Football and I believe the baseball game was called Pursue the Pennant. Good days.

Do you remember Pac mania? How revolutionary Dragon's Lair was when it came out? Roller Skating Rinks on the weekends where all the ladies were? Drive in movie theatres? Pick up ballgames at the park?

As Archie and Edith sang, "Those were the days."

The world sucks now and has gone soft. (i.e. game wise - feeling it's ok to work a League Admin to get me out of a league for no reason)

Real world wise - breathe on a QB = penalty. You have to protect concussions, of course but way it is now Lawrence Taylor would have had 75% of his sacks negated due to a myriad of reasons of not tackling in one little zone area.

I was a fan of the 90's Knicks and I'm 5'8, therefore, I played launching 3's but my dawg Trae Young epitomizes the destruction of the game launching 3's from half court since High School and thinking it is cool because no coach checked him for idiocy.

No Oak Man. No Mase in Your Face. No Big Men like Ewing in the paint.

I rocked Colecovision....hard.

Yes...yes...yes and yes

Pick up baseball games were an everyday thing in the summer and tackle football with no pads or helmets in the fall.

I remember feeling so sore after those tackle football games and loved every minute of it. I had my "football cloths" which were 2 old sweet pants plus 3 ragged shirts along with old socks cut off and used for elbow and knee pads.

Somebody always left the field ****** and banged up and everybody came back the following weekend to play it again.

We never had much fights because everyone who played earned respect so it was like a right of passage into manhood. You might not have liked everyone who played vut you had to respect em!!

I pass big open fields would have been superb for playing those pick up games you're talking about and they're always empty now. Im 64 in february and its sad not seeing any kids out there playing anymore.
