ATLANTA — The Buffalo Skull Crushers defeated the Atlanta Dominators 28-9 on Sunday in a Week 10 regular season game. Buffalo improved to 9-1 on the year, extending their winning streak to four games. Atlanta fell to 7-3, losing their first game after a four-game winning streak.

Buffalo Head Coach Donald Sprenger saw his team execute a balanced offensive attack and a steady defensive performance to claim the victory on the road. Quarterback James Miller led the charge, completing 24 of 35 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown. Miller also added four rushing yards on the ground. Wide receiver Steven Magana was a key target, hauling in 105 receiving yards including an eight-yard touchdown catch late in the second quarter that gave Buffalo a 9-6 lead.

Running back James Crawford contributed 73 rushing yards and scored on a receiving touchdown. John Bingman also added 63 receiving yards in the win.

Buffalo's defense played a crucial role by limiting Atlanta to just nine points. The Dominators’ offense struggled to find the end zone, managing only three field goals. Atlanta's kicker Richard Sanders converted three field goals, one in the first quarter from 38 yards and another from 46 yards late in the second, but the team failed to score a touchdown.

Buffalo special teams also made a major impact. On a critical play at the start of the fourth quarter, Buffalo’s Edwin Kellum recovered a fumble by Atlanta’s Kevin Martinez and returned it 94 yards for a touchdown, extending the lead to 18-6. This key turnover highlighted the Skull Crushers’ defensive prowess throughout the game.

Atlanta’s quarterback Michael Jones completed 22 of 41 passes for 160 yards but threw one interception early in the first quarter, which set the tone for Buffalo’s defensive dominance. The Atlanta ground game was held to 198 yards on 36 carries without any touchdowns. Jefferson Brookshire accounted for 84 rushing yards and one reception for a single yard but was sidelined due to injury following the fumble return touchdown.

Buffalo’s kicker Richard Dailey was perfect on field goals, converting all three attempts, including a clutch 19-yard kick making the score 6-3 in the second quarter and a 20-yard field goal in the third quarter extending the lead to 12-6.

Both teams struggled on third down, with neither team converting any attempts. Penalties were minimal, with Buffalo committing two penalties for 11 yards and Atlanta one for five yards.

With this win, Buffalo continues to lead their division with a 2-1 division record, while Atlanta remains first in theirs with a perfect 4-0 division mark despite the loss.
