The Blitzkrieg struck early with a 23-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Cornelius Camp to wide receiver James Michaud less than two minutes into the game. John Bentley followed with a successful extra point to put Pittsburgh up 7-0.

Pittsburgh then added a 32-yard field goal by Bentley late in the first quarter, extending their lead to 10-0. The Blitzkrieg continued their offensive onslaught in the second quarter as running back Fernando Russo scored two rushing touchdowns from close range, though one Bentley extra point was missed. Pittsburgh also added another Bentley field goal before halftime to reach 26 points.

The Providence Islanders managed a lone touchdown on a rushing play but were otherwise shut down by Pittsburgh's defense. Quarterback Tommie Vaughan struggled, completing 17 of 31 passes for 233 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. The Blitzkrieg defense also registered two sacks and an interception.

Pittsburgh quarterback Cornelius Camp completed 36 of 53 passes for 464 yards and two touchdowns while throwing a single interception. Running back Fernando Russo was a standout with 161 yards on 35 carries and three receiving touchdowns. Receiver William Dasilva posted 167 receiving yards and a rushing touchdown, while tight end Gary Miller contributed 92 receiving yards.

Special teams played a key role with Pittsburgh converting all four field goal attempts. Providence was unable to score any points through kicking.

The victory clinches the division for Pittsburgh Blitzkrieg under head coach Anthony Kirby, pushing their season points for to 421 and points against to 130, demonstrating their ongoing superiority in the league.

Providence Islanders, coached by Michael Frey, now face an uphill battle, sitting at second in the division but already eliminated from playoff contention. The Islanders also struggled with penalties, committing 8 for 70 yards compared to Pittsburgh's 5 for 30 yards.

This game featured multiple interceptions by the Blitzkrieg defense, including key picks by Joseph Ruano and Alexander Reed in the second half that halted any chance of a Providence comeback.
