Maybe we can have a sticky post warning new owners about the pitfalls of trading and the crappy default weights/gameplans.

Until the problems with the player weights gets fixed, maybe the note should say that your competitors will be only too glad to take advantage of you.

I have never seen the concept of a trade committee actually *work,* mostly because it depends on the sanity of the owners on it. Well, we're *here,* so you already know that we're a little bit off! For the sake of competitive balance, however, maybe this sort of thing needs to be revisited.

Whatever gets the point across to the newbies I'm for it. Trade committee is too much IMO.

I would suggest newer owners or even veteran owners get a second set of eyes on a potential trade.

I freely give my opinion all the time so I have no problem answering a PM for my opinion on a trade. Raidergreg will give you a honest opinion too!

Speed.Rules in MFN so a loaded player with 100s everywhere but 60-70 speed won't be a superstar because he is too slow.

Speed begins to decrease in year 8 and it's a rapid fall so trading for a 7th year players means getting 1 possibly 2 seasons in their prime.

Of course, you can always just ask questions in the forums, we have a ton of owners willing to help and not every owner will prey on new owners via trades. Hammond is elite and knows exactly how lopsided that trade was!

I've said this before but I will say it again: while all of you own a team and focus on improving your team. I most try to maintain 32 owners in the XFL.

So a 7 year elite owner pounding a 2 month owner 100-0 doesn't help my league and proves nothing your skill as a gameplannner. The newbie may get frustrated and quit.

So a 3 year elite owner rips off a newbie by trading a slow default weights stud to the newbie for a 1st rounder is playing dirty and seen by most owners as being predatory. Grandadb is famous for it and many of you know how I feel about him.

Crowing in the forums about how you will clown someone new in hopes he leaves the league is just asinine. If the league loses owners, the league suffers. Elite owners need to talk trash to other elite owners because an elite owner beating a perennial 3-13 team means nothing.

Looks like a lag caused me to have 9 or 11 scouting points...showing as 10 and then de-selecting as I went off the tab. I had to re-do the off-def-misc-off plays-def plays content. Only depth chart-over-rides-rules remained. My plays hit the shredder, therefore, had to go all total recall. 61 percent jacked up game plan attendance. In the weeds to set a season game plan - ridicously hard work - the ai should adjust the 1 scouting point and not wreck a game plan.
