Non-true RBs are the devil.

For me, it started last year out of desperation. I whiffed on nabbing a top tier RB in free agency and didn't have the draft capital to trade for one. What to do? Go out and find some WRs with good speed, acceleration, ball carrying, and avoid fumble and convert them.

Does it always work? Nope. But right now I am confident I have the right kinds of plays to make it effective enough.

They cry but there's an art. You can't mash a 60 strength WR up the middle and you have to carefully craft everything out.

But they don't want to do work, so they cry and go to setherick for weight min changes :) lol

personal example

I hate using WR at RB...never have for years in the past out of some self-imposed ethical guideline I set for myself but CAPTAIN DEFENDER and others ensured everyone how much 4.6 fixed everything...closed up all the exploits in 4.5 and was a much better version even with the "limited" (they say)/"broken" (I say) passing game.

I'm too the point now where if 4.6 is so great then it needs no custom rules and I'm gonna use whoever, wherever I want.

I spent years of my time freely making version 4.5 more realistic and competitive with custom rules and self-imposed restrictions but no longer.

I don't care what anyone does, custom rules are out the window because 4.6 was forced upon us. So let the madness begin, people are quitting MFN like I predicted and eventually the 46 current public leagues with hit 40 and dwindle down to 2 pages of available leagues.

My estimate is we have dropped from 351 owners to roughly 280 since the release of 4.6

I've directly asked JDB for a current, active number in MFN-1 but if he responds is a completely different story.

He rubber stamped thus new version despite many complaints and he can live with the aftermath. I've done more then most to create and expand his game while spending 100's of my own money so my obligations to this game are over.

I will keep my 3 leagues active and as full as possible but unless he quickly addresses the passing game...more and more Moons and Thomas's will happen.

Frustration is what they should have named the new version or at least old time smash mouth football but even that isn't accurate when 95 speed 198 pound WRs are running the ball at a 5.9 clip with 15 carries a game.

Its amazing how I can fix The problems in 4.5 with a few custom rules without any access to the code but JDB takes a hugh step back with total access. It's frustrating and I'm gonna have to watch 2 leagues that have been full/active/fun for over 3 years real time die a slow death!

Good game Pittsburgh. Couldn't handle your pass rush or hold onto the ball - impressive turnaround this season!
