WILDCARD
Los Angeles Challengers @ Tampa Bay Fireballs (-3)
Toronto scored first, taking a 3-0 lead early in the 1st quarter before Oakland scored 10 unanswered to take a 10-3 lead into halftime. Oakland would take 10 point leads twice (13-3/20-10) in the 2nd half but Toronto would respond on both occasions with touchdowns making the score 20-17 with 8:43 left in the 4th quarter. Oakland was forced to punt with 4:53 left in the game with the score 20-17 but Toronto would fumble with 2:26 remaining at midfield setting up Oakland for a fieldgoal and a 23-17 lead with just 0:28 left in the game. Toronto failed to make any magic as time ran out.
Houston Roughnecks 6 @ Cincinnati Defenders 0
This was a defensive battle between division rivals as Houston wins 1st ever road playoff game. Houston got the ball first and quickly went 3 and out but Cincinnati fumbled on their 1st play from scrimmage setting Houston up just outside fieldgoal range. Houston managed 29 yards on an 8 play drive and kicked a 31 yard fieldgoal. It would turn out to be enough to win the game. Cincinnati would reach Houston territory 3 times in the 1st half including a 4th and 10 from the Houston 35 yard line with 0:42 seconds left in the half but they elected to punt instead of attempting a 52 yard fieldgoal. Cincinnati K Carl Charles was a perfect 36 for 36 during the season but only 1 for 1 at 50+ yards where he converted a 57 yarder. In the 2nd half, Cincinnati again passed on a 50 yard try on thier 1st possession and again elected to punt. Houston would add a 2nd fieldgoal in the 2nd half to extend their lead to 6-0 with 8:05 left in the game. Houston again would drive into Houston territory but turned it over on downs on a 4th and 12 from the Houston 31. In the end, questions remain why Cincinnati chose to punt instead of attempting 2 50+ yard fieldgoals early in the game which forced their hand to go for it on 4th and 12 at the end of the game while in fieldgoal range.
Michigan Wolverines 10 @ Dakota Blizzard 35
Any matchup between division rivals was close throughout the 1st half as each team managed a touchdown until Dakota scored another with 1:41 left in the half to take a 14-7 lead into halftime. Dakota would score 2 more touchdowns in the 3rd quarter which essentially ended the game at 28-7. Michigan manged a fieldgoal to start the 4th quarter making it 28-10 but Dakota would put tye game away with a late touchdown.

Los Angeles Challengers 3 @ Tampa Bay Fireballs 13
Tampa played suffocating defense and won the 1st playoff game in francise history. They held Los Angeles to 109 total yards, just 7 1st downs, caused 1 turnover and 5 sacks while allowing just 3 points. Tampa's offense did enough despite 3 interceptions to advance to the divisional round for the 1st time.
Saint Paul Punishers 13 @ Philadelphia Slayers 27
Saint Paul had the experience edge in the postseason especially recently but they were on the road where they haven't had much success as they were 2-8 on the road in the playoffs. Philadelphia started fast, taking an early 10-0 lead in the 1st quarter and took a 13-6 lead into halftime. Neither team scored in the 3rd quarter before Philadelphia then Saint Paul each scored a touchdown in the 4th making the score 20-13 with 3:07 remaining in the game. Saint Paul needed a stop to get the ball back with a chance to tie the game but Philly ran the ball on 7 straight plays and was aided by 2 Saint Paul penalties for facemasking and scored a touchdown to seal the victory..
Montana Grizzlies 10 @ Vegas Black Aces 27
Montana was looking for their 1st postseason win and jumped out to a 10-7 lead in the 1st quarter but after that their offense went cold, scoring no more the rest of the game and throwing 3 picks. Vegas ran the ball for 300 yards and took a 14-10 lead into halftime before outscoring Montana 13-0 in the 2nd half.

My max FG has been set at 55 the entire season (actually since I joined XFL; actually in every single league I'm in). Why the sim refused to kick at 52 and 50 yards is beyond me. I'm still raging about it (half considered rage quitting mfn after that game). I've never had a sim pass on a FG within the max range I've set. I have no rules that would override a FG decision. It just makes no sense to me. If any vets could enlighten me on this, I'd be happy to get an explanation.

You only attempted 1 50+ yarder all season. Something is off and I'm not sure what it is. There are 2 sliders for fieldgoals...what are they both set at?
Something is preventing you from kicking 50+ yard fieldgoals but without knowing all your settings and rules, I don't have an answer.
Your kicker is a 100/100 kicker so he should have multiple 50+ yard attempts. It looks like something changed in the past 2 seasons since your kicker had no problem kicking long fieldgoals a few seasons ago and he is tied for a bunch of kickers with the longest (60 yards) in league history.
I'd have to go back and look through some logs. I usually don't mess with the FG sliders too much. I have it at 55 Max Normal and 65 Max End of Half. It's possible I did something to it at some point during this season, but I don't recall off the top of my head. Might just be dumb luck or something I overlooked with the sliders. I've just never had an issue like this in other leagues. Will look through some logs over the season to double check.
